I want to have creep on my entire map. But this can cause problems for caravaning because all animals are too slow on creep. Any idea how to play around this? Meybe some other mod with insect pack animals? Great mod btw.

@thallmor - There may be a better way, but the way I do it is to have the Royal Jelly stored in a shelf that *isn't* in my 'Hive Area'. Your bugs only eat things that are in the hive area.

No? Yes, it ruins your immune system if you get addicted to it, but it boosts your immune system when you take it. The reason it lowers your immune system when addicted is because your body gets used to the effect of the drug, so the immune system becomes weaker since it's not required for it to work so hard when the jelly is in your system.

They confirmed no plasma or riot gear. However I'd love cuterpillar, milkbeetle, silkspider, and others. Right now the mod is very combat focused, where I want to play as a more peaceful hive.

Royal jelly floor isnt flammable. Standard jelly floor is still somewhat flammable, but less so than creep.

@Choosechee That's because it does the opposite lmao. Royal Jelly LOWERS the immune system, since it's used either for the effects of the high as a drug, or to speed up leader gestation.

Just wanted to say I figured out the basic XML structure of my cheesy patch for the recipes of artificial hives. I need to playtest it for awhile, as well as figure out a preview image and stuff, but once that's done I assume from the existence of other addons that it's cool to post my patch on the workshop for anyone else who wants their ant colony to self-propagate without constantly killing more bosses?

Is it intentional that royal insect jelly only helps with infections and not any other diseases? This isn't mentioned anywhere in the description (it just says "immunity," which applies to multiple hediffs). I checked the source code for the mod, and I saw that IngestionOutcomeDoer_Immunity specifically checks for the infection hediff, so I know this isn't some issue because of another mod. I would post on the bug reports page, but I don't know if this is a bug or not.

It's possible, you just need to patch replace the Cost of the new hives to remove the pherocore cost from it.

Also figured out two small issues, specifically pertaining to the black creep:

It seems that black creep doesn't have the movement debuff.

Anything placed or already built on it turns to normal creep / doesn't get converted, instead of converting the creep underneath it. Which is at least only graphical, but extremely annoying, otherwise I have to try and fix it with debug after the black creepers fill their radius.

The flammable filth texture is vanilla. You either have corrupted game files, or a mod removing it

ok ... somehow the flamer insect leave no texture of flammabile filth .... its only had red |X| image. how do i solve it?

Figured out my other question, but unclear how to upgrade with Phenocores, no option from what I can see, also how do you get the patriarch to spawn, since that's also from the Sorne line but you can't make a thumper for it

We don't know what "Mantodean" is. Compatibility is only given for our Insector xenotype

The more I complain the weirder things get...
Creeper issue just magically fixed itself, still extremely slow but that's fine. The only big issue remaining between this and Mantodean compat is the other bugs not counting as bugs, will see if I can find a simple way to fix it, otherwise I'm just going to have to have two separate hives.

Seems to work, but still two MASSIVE problems that make this mod unusable for me.
1. Every other Mantodean caste and creature still doesn't count then except the colonists, making the rest of them useless on creep.

2.I agree with one of the other commenters, this mod really needs an incompatibility list.. even with creep spread jacked up to max, creepers won't spread naturally outside of the tile they get placed on, which I assume is only because it probably force converts it when you place one down. The first thing I can get around, this, I can't, because it basically stops me from using the mod, and I assume it's an incompatibility but have no idea what it could be incompatible with.

@Luzilyo I'm assuming the only trait I actually need is the insect pheromones and / or flesh, seeing as how none of the other genes even remotely relate to making that race an insect, it's either just flat stat changes or cosmetics.

Ok, found it. In case anyone else is having a similar question, insectors and the insect flesh are appearently not part of the base mod but instead it's a mod addon which can be found here

The only thing I ask, is that the Mantodean race count as insectoids if they don't already, since they are, and this mod would be a perfect combination with them, to have the largest hivemind!

How do you get the insect flesh gene? I tried to do it with the "insect jelly flesh" but my pawns are still being slowed down when walking over the creep. Does it maybe have to be "royal insect jelly flesh"?

I adore adore adore <3 this mod but need to know - what genes make Insectors count as Insectoids for creep? Is it just a matter of having them all grow the wings, or is there a specific gene I should be looking to include? (Or, for that matter, is it only 'basic first gen' insectors who get creep-slow immunity?)

Currently have a hybrid insector/insect colony with some Lycans added in from recruitment, and I'm having a whale of a time <3

ok.. so I just activated my first thumper - The Empress one. I am already at spacer tech, not sure if that matters. I cant see the whole map at once, but I have over 100 Empresses on screen! They seem to be coming out of every tile! Anyone had this issue before?

DO NOT make it require a sorne pherocore, the whole point is it's a parallel to bandwidth towers, a shitty way to improve capacity but it doesn't require anything you can't craft.
