Either way if he keeps crying about it all he's doing is making himself look like a child.
OP if you want attention, I imagine there are easier ways, if you want a paycheck, get a 2nd job rather than hoping a mod for a game will generate you cash.
Seriously, mod drama is the single worst first impression you can give someone who knows nothing about this. I've not played Zomboid for over a year and as much as I dislike build 42, I'd have come back to build 41 just to play this if you'd not turned me off so hard with that first impression.
As a freelance artist I can say with certainty that I really do NOT CARE IF SOMEONE USES AI pics in a fan project you made FOR FREE. It's the large companies we hate using AI, not NORMAL PEOPLE or non artists who are just trying to make something FUN and ENJOYABLE... and again... FOR FREE.
Sorry that the internet can be heartless. I hope you continue the mod but I would understand if you don't. Do what you gotta do for your own mental health :)
Also, I will admit I've been trying to mod your mod myself for my own personal game. Instead of ending the game when a player is rescued, I'm trying to teleport them randomly across the map to simulate them surviving the helicopter crash... or end up in a 'safe zone'.
With nearly 270,000 subscribers, I've received a lot of positive feedback in posts and comments, which I truly appreciate. However, a single, solitary donation and seeing so much attention on superfluous details (sometimes with offensive comments), makes me ask myself if it's worth the effort to continue.
Sorry for the rant, it's a sad day for other reasons too. Maybe i'll likely update the mod anyway (it's something I've put a lot of work into), but in the meantime, if you're able to support my work, I would be very thankful.

Im partially glad to see that im not the only one who suffered with the stupidly crappy way the actual extraction works. I had a full run lasting the entire year, so nearly ~300h of gameplay just to get the most boring and downright unfun ending. Like both of you i prepared myself, made sure everything was ready for a full zombei invasion, guns and ammo scattered near certain walls i'd shoot through while they slowly broke in, clearing as many as i could until i got to the roof freezing cold even with 4 campfires near me. Well, guess what, they simply spawned around me every now and then, making it downright boring to simply spin around and look for some random zombie spawning right behind me on the rooftop instead of actually coming from around the zone.
If you guys have ANY idea on how to solve this and have zombies spawn AROUND the building or simply to attract the ones nearby i'd really enjoy having a proper ending to my year-long adventure.
A little bummed that the ending message was something as "hey, you got out but the chopper's got a problem, it seems you're going down, maybe this is how you die?"
I do appreciate the existence of this mod for giving me an optional goal and it was a lot of fun trying to make it all the way to the extraction point... but also what the hell?!?
Even if I set it to multidraw and restart the game, the escape area keeps changing randomly. What should I do in this case?
I would love to use this mod to end a server with my friends. However, there's one big issue. As soon as you join the server, you're prompted with a message showing the number of days before the signal becomes active.
This message is a HUGE spoiler, especially if you want to surprise your players. Has anyone figured out a way to disable it?
Nevertheless, great mod!
