Well mainly if you go vs Bretonnia then any infantry pick should be either monstous one or anti large one with charge reflect.

Magic to slow enemy units down as well. Sadly AI is incapable of countering this with mages and recruitment choices so its easy to brutalize AI armies in land battles even with the other player controlling AI units. The AI is also moronic and goes to help their 1 lord next to a city with their garrison to be stomped in the filed right next to the settlement. If that is fixed then brettonia cav is counterbalanced by a tough time in sieges. Can make a multiplayer rule not to attack single lords or 5 skavenslaves next to a major settlement and siege the main settlement directly instead.

@Radious wedge increases mass like 3x or something its like bracing vs heavy chariots. Only deep formations of higher tier halberds work I think. But in mp it doesn't matter you will never be allowed to brace. Game design is bad and you can send your infantry to break brace and then charge right through friendly inf with 0 downsides and stomp over the enemy units no problem. But its ok brettonia sucks balls in multiplayer, thats all they can do. Can also just run circles around the halberds, they can't turn and brace in time before wedge charge. But monsters and friendly cav counter this fully, trees can help a bit too.

Mainly higher tier units - 3-5 if braced properly will stop any cavalry and wont allow them to run though easily. Its always about proper tactics, formations and good use of right units. Anti large units will handle any cavalry when focused on them.

actually 6 ranks might be enough, also thats all brettonia is good for, they're like ogres, need to spam halberds vs them or monsters/cav. Reg melee inf is supposed to be fodder.

The cav in wedge formation can only be stopped by deep ranks of charge defence infantry IIRC. Try 8 ranks deep with spearmen, that should work. 4 will do nothing. Best counter to them is monsters or your own cav.

Yeah, I was playing on Legendary and the highest difficulty. By the way, I was in multiplayer with a friend he was playing as Bretonnia, and his cavalry just went right through all the infantry: dwarves, skeletons, Khorne, lizardmen. it didn’t matter if there were spearmen in the way.

Alex: What horses are too OP? And vs who? Most reports we get is that game is very difficult on VH/Legendary difficulties. You have more armies and yo does everyone else.

End turn crashes are completely random with or withour mods, and many people have also mentioned that once they had one, they started having them constantly, even making the game completely unplayable.

Sadly, we can do nothing at all about it. The only answer since Warhammer 1 was released has been using console command mod to identify which faction is causing the crash and removing it.

I know about end turn crashes, this isn't my first rodeo.. Just found it odd that i was able to do a long Empire run so smoothly in the first time in forever, and then as soon as the mod updated yesterday, i can't even make it past turn 40 without the game crashing. Just seems suspicious to me. Even after a verify and mod manager update, did a HE run, end turn crashed on turn 24.

@Grubbs008 delete the faction who's turn the game crashes on with the console mod and you can keep playing. Its a vanilla bug thats been around for years. You can google, thousands of vanilla users report end turn crashes.

Grubbs: None of our changes or anything in the mod entirely cant cause any end turn crashes, it would be related only if these would happen to everyone and every time.

Those are base game bugs old as TW itself CA cant fix right or potentially some script heavy mods if you use any. In this game - less is always more for stability reasons.

Did a 160+ turn empire run it was fine, Radious updated yesterday, and I was on about turn 40 when I got a end turn crash as Kislev today. Was fine before. I use the mod manager already.

If your game crashes you are using conflicting mods and/or need to use shazbot mod manager to redownload your mods and launch the game

Unless it´s macos or linux, in that case the problem is that CA does not release the game patches for those systems

Самая большую проблему для меня составила фракция хаоса, а именно Вайлькия, Фестес, Вилич и Азазель они не могут раскрыть себя как нужно ибо они себя по иному ведут. они на правлены на опредилёных богов Хаоса.

There is a submod for this. Its not OP because the AI gets the same effect. It lets you actually use all your skills instead of never ever levelling some of them or only being able to experience some things when the game is already over.

Ну я играл всеми фракциями и могу сказать что у модера ппц всё не понятно в плане юнитов 4 и 5 тиров. Ведь юниты 4 тира сильнее 5 что просто бред!!!! в этом плане нужно переработать. и такое во всех фракциях!!!!!

That´s the passive Ai bug combined with the huge amount of armies the AI creates with that submod.
Being completely passive dyue to the bug the armies will not even move and will end flooding the entire ara around their capital.

As long as CA does not fix that bug, the only soslution is using console command mod to delete the entire bugged faction

Does anyone know if downloading the insane mod changes your files ? Me and my friend uninstalled it but on turn 60 there was no joke over 100 20 stacks at grand cathay bastion walls. We kept getting desync and fps tanked and then we saw the HUGE stacks. The only pop-up he got was end time event but I did not enable end times and even if i did it should be after turn 100.

When you click on Archive & Changlelog button the first post explains what the mod does in more detail than the picture you see first in the mod description. You don't need to read the patchnotes.

I guess Radious should rename the button into Detailed description of mod changes & Changelog

My point being is that explaining what mod actually adds should be first priority in a workshop and then should come the marketing and advertising (because its like i had to read whole EULA agreement that tends to be 2-10 pages long just to understand what im getting)

@Radious i get that marketing is important and im not here to argue or complain too much just wanted to give you my insight on problems i encountered but even the links you provided (idk why those links are not on main post too) dont actually have detailed information like what actual units does it add the first link is great source of info as it is but it lacks details as for patch notes sure i could find what i need there but you must surely understand how much of a nightmare is to find stuff there especially if project was going for a while (not to mention double checking if some other patch update did not replace something about that i needed).
twwstats does exactly what i wanted it for but i had to go through all the other links and read through all other info that was not relevant (someone from it does not rly say what twwstats are for and its uses).

Lando: If that haooens its only dhe to one of you not getting all updated parts and then having different versions. Steam sadly is very slow to start auto downloads so its better to manually resub or using community mod manager.

the update made it so my buddy and i couldnt start a mp campaign or resume or 2 day old one as well. says incompatible, should i unsub and resub or does anyone have a different solution

@Noah that would be a lot of work to make 2 people happy that probably haven't actually tried playing with all the units.
The units are also from warhammer lore and army books. You should try playing it the way it is and then see if you still wanna go back to vanilla only units.

First time trying out this mod...oh my sweet gods undivided is this a truly amazing time, been playing Warhammer for years and I don't think I've had this much fun other then getting a new game!
