The cav in wedge formation can only be stopped by deep ranks of charge defence infantry IIRC. Try 8 ranks deep with spearmen, that should work. 4 will do nothing. Best counter to them is monsters or your own cav.

Sadly, we can do nothing at all about it. The only answer since Warhammer 1 was released has been using console command mod to identify which faction is causing the crash and removing it.
Those are base game bugs old as TW itself CA cant fix right or potentially some script heavy mods if you use any. In this game - less is always more for stability reasons.
Unless it´s macos or linux, in that case the problem is that CA does not release the game patches for those systems

It must load BEFORE the four parts of main Radious mod to work.
There is a submod for this. Its not OP because the AI gets the same effect. It lets you actually use all your skills instead of never ever levelling some of them or only being able to experience some things when the game is already over.
Being completely passive dyue to the bug the armies will not even move and will end flooding the entire ara around their capital.
As long as CA does not fix that bug, the only soslution is using console command mod to delete the entire bugged faction
When you click on Archive & Changlelog button the first post explains what the mod does in more detail than the picture you see first in the mod description. You don't need to read the patchnotes.
I guess Radious should rename the button into Detailed description of mod changes & Changelog
twwstats does exactly what i wanted it for but i had to go through all the other links and read through all other info that was not relevant (someone from it does not rly say what twwstats are for and its uses).
Why didn't you just try resubbing which you are supposed to do every time any mod is updated?
What other solution do you need? It was easier and faster to resub than it was to type your comment.
The units are also from warhammer lore and army books. You should try playing it the way it is and then see if you still wanna go back to vanilla only units.
