@Deadbabyguadelupe, pour water into a glass, then add a gainer to it, then heat it in the microwave. Yes, I know that the gainer does not need to be heated in real life, but unfortunately I could not get around this limitation of the game engine.

@aquelarrefox, Unfortunately, at the moment the game does not provide an exact chance of objects appearing, I tried to minimize the appearance of boxes, but even with the most minimal values, they appear too often. As I understand it, this is more like a dice roll, where each side is responsible for its loot and the more mods and items you have in them, the more loot you will receive, even if you use the minimum loot settings. You can use an alternative version that completely disables the appearance of boxes. Sorry for my English, I use machine translation.

this way, we can keep finding these invoices, like a paper trail, and then when we have enough of them, we can use 10 basic recipes, to convert (track down) the final destination of the shipment, and convert it into the actual Food Box :)

eg, convert 10x "food pack invoices-sardines" into 1x Sardines Food Pack (which has the 20 sardines inside) :lunar2019grinningpig:

when i saw that there were 2 versions of the food boxes (packaging, and lootable) i had 1 idea to suggest for you :) (its similar to what i did in my mod for rimworld)

basically, is there a way for you to make a 3rd version, which allows packaging multiple foods into boxes, BUT, also allows "food pack invoices" to be found, wherever a food package is set in the distributions?

so for example, any place where the lootable version would have had a chance of finding a food box, it instead gives a random type of "food pack invoice"?

for example "food pack invoice-sardines" or "food pack invoice-dogfood" etc

Еще раз хочу вернутся сюда, чтобы сказать, какой это классный мод. Энергосы тащут, не редко спасая в трудных ситуациях! Или чтобы боротся с отрицательными трейтами, вроде сонливого или лунатика...
Но такой вопросец есть: что там по фермерству? Будет ли у нас когда-нибудь возможность выращивать табак и бродить дрожжи и картошку в дешевое крафтовое пойло?

@Smiley Face Killer, You can use an alternative module where the spawn of food boxes is disabled. Unfortunately, the loot system in zomboid does not allow you to make the chance of spawn really rare. Module 6 currently adds only tobacco leaves from which you can make cigarettes, this will be expanded in the future.

With Module 2, the boxes of food spawn wayyyy too much. How do I go about making them spawn less? I mean like every other car has 1-2 boxes of food in the trunk, so like 24-40 cans/jars in every other car makes my survival a lot easier, and I don't like it easier lol My food rarity is on Extremely rare

На данный момент можно с помощью собирательства найти табачные листья, которые надо высушить в духовке, а далее перетереть с помощью ступки и пестика, далее объединяем с бумагой и получаем сигареты. В недавнем прохождение столкнулся с нехваткой сигарет, вот и решил исправить ситуацию. В дальнейшем собираюсь добавить средства для лечения растений, а так же другие полезные вещи которые можно будет найти с помощью собирательства:spiffo:

@Wrench In The Plan, I'm not a programmer, but after looking at the "Lasanha" code, I came to the conclusion that a completely different method of distributing items is used there, which overlaps the spawn of my items and most likely items from other mods. (My method gives each item a certain chance to appear in the pockets of zombies, it is used by almost all popular moderators whose code I looked at, the "Lasanha" method is somewhat similar to roulette, there is a list of items and the number of spins of this roulette, naturally my items or items of other moderators are not on this list, hence the incompatibility). Also at the moment I'm playing on a server where about 150 mods are installed and I didn't notice any problems with the appearance of my food on zombies. Sorry for answering so late.

Update on the 'can't find food on zombies' issue - I just had to remove another mod that added food to zombie loot tables (the Lasanha mod, if anyone's wondering), and now zombies drop this mod's energy drinks again.

I'm not sure if this is intentional or not, but I used to be able to find some of the food items from this mod all the time on the corpses of killed zombies. But that's not happening anymore. Is this an intentional choice on your part, or is it more likely a problem on my end?

@Snail, I myself wanted to weaken the overdose, if you go into details, it is based on the mechanics of poisoning, which is also affected by cigarettes (yes, if you smoke a whole pack of cigarettes, the character will die) therefore, sometimes people died after taking the pill along with smoking. I can't update the mod right now due to some problems, but I promise I will do it after the release of the 41.72 build. Oh, I hope you understand what I mean, heh machine translation

also a quick question/request, but I feel like the overdose system is too unforgiving, died on a dude in my third week due to having ingested some pills (despite having carbon to fix poisoning), and it was just a loop of trying to stay alive/combat the illness with antibiotics, sleeping meds to keep my strength as long as possible and carbon to survive. The overdose mechanic is fine by itself, but would it be possible to nerf it/reduce it a bit, or have a secondary module that would either disable it or make it not as bad? on an alcoholic pawn it's especially hard to manage, and imo makes it too hard to actually be worth it to use the mod in its current state (despite being a really fun and interesting mod)

great work bro, also don't mind the dude below, he was telling you to follow the usual format in how the items are named in the game (his problem being about capital letters mainly), but it isn't much of an issue at all when the mod works correctly.
Just him being overly picky, and considering you aren't a native english speaker, I'd say you did a great job!

anyway, love the mods, and keep up the great work

I see much has changed! Very interesting and thank you for making the mod into separate modules. This is very helpful.

I only have one small appeal to make: Should it be that one serving of pepperoni has that much satiety? (-20) One package of pepperoni is enough to last several days alone, but one can also make pepperoni stew and get even more out of it. I only say this because it seems slightly imbalanced.
