where can I get an older version for a playlist?
Ghost Fox (ΘΔ) 6 hours ago
Perhaps surprisingly, Cites, that wasn't aimed at you. It was aimed at the painfully-obvious ♥♥♥♥-stirring attempt immediately before it.

Does your definition of a troll genuinely enjoy the authors work? I certainly do! Way better than paradox.
Pappirap 27 Nov @ 12:45pm
Go be terminally online somewhere else...
Ghost Fox (ΘΔ) 27 Nov @ 10:35am
…Obvious troll is obvious.
Trans Bussy 27 Nov @ 8:06am
@CitiesSkyliner Your going to take that disrespect from those commenters? Personally i wouldn`t let that slide and stand up for myself instead. But hey! that`s just me, you do you buddy :D:lunar2020ratinablanket:
CitesSkyliner 27 Nov @ 6:53am
What? Pretty nice to have compatibility with EK2.
Xherdos 26 Nov @ 7:43am

YORK 26 Nov @ 7:36am
cry about it.
CitesSkyliner 26 Nov @ 7:18am
I might.............and did you forget not to curse?
YORK 25 Nov @ 5:38pm
@CitesSkyliner Bro... you really need to see a therapist. This is not healthy human behavior, your acting like a 12 who runs his mouth and wonders why people are picking on him. If the whole world is against you, its probably bc your being an ass
CitesSkyliner 25 Nov @ 4:27pm
If you were placed in similar circumstances and someone insulted you and told YOU stopped commenting, would you? Emily I do not want a hypocrite telling me to stop commenting.
Emily 25 Nov @ 2:48pm
@CitesSkyliner wtf is wrong with you, stop commenting
CitesSkyliner 25 Nov @ 5:42am
Shalom Shalom.
CitesSkyliner 25 Nov @ 5:42am
Completely sorry to everyone that had to deal with that. My fingers went faster then my mind. I really should have seen how Ghost Fox reacted to what I said and realized they were NOT who I thought they were. I believe that everyone is NOT a flat piece of cardboard and a fully unique human being. I have severely stereotyped Ghost Fox. Let me explain my thought process (Not saying that it was right.) Firstly I noticed that they completely misunderstood AI and I held my ground. Next I realized they were a member of the furry fandom and I jumped to conclusions that were unfounded. Furthermore (ΘΔ) those strange symbols led me to distrust them ever more! I do completely hate the furry fandom but, I also hate the anti-furries for being insane radicals.
CitesSkyliner 25 Nov @ 5:29am
@Ghost Fox (ΘΔ): My sincere apologies. I have massively confused more radical members of your community with you.
Big Bird 24 Nov @ 9:32pm
Nothing better than a great mod with a cringefest of a comment section. HELL YA!
Ghost Fox (ΘΔ) 24 Nov @ 1:52pm
…Well. That was an unexpected blowup. I've taken the liberty of reporting it, since it goes beyond the usual ad hominem to an entirely unfounded accusation.
CitesSkyliner 24 Nov @ 9:17am
And before you or whatever wants to try to correct me if they will want to talk to me says: "But a animals does consent to another animal". I am referring to.......It is so disgusting!: B-E-A-S-T-I-A-L-I-T-Y
CitesSkyliner 24 Nov @ 9:05am
Ghost Fox (ΘΔ): Well, some people on the internet typing on the internet on a specific way that they want to and could be lying to me! And besides it is obvious that you have a very simplistic understanding of modern Large Language Models. Furthermore, this person is a member of a community that has some radical members that say that a animal can consent to sex thus, making it very easy to dismiss your argument. Sorry to everyone else for such a bloated comment section.
cybrxkhan  [author] 21 Nov @ 6:23pm
@John Sangrós Just did a rough count, and looks like ~40 events are disabled with the serious events game rule, and about ~10 are disabled with both serious or default game rule, so with the serious game rule you'll not have about roughly 50 events.
Ghost Fox (ΘΔ) 21 Nov @ 2:19pm
@CitesSkyliner: Well, some humans certainly don't seem to understand what venues aren't appropriate for trying to defend the use of hallucination engines. Good day.
CitesSkyliner 21 Nov @ 10:56am
@John Sangrós: That would be nice to know. @Ghost Fox: Before you start saying that you should know that all modern Large Language Models use a system of artificial neurons that imitate how the human brain functions. So......is your argument that humans know nothing?
John Sangrós 20 Nov @ 10:06am
How many of the 1227 events are considered serious events? Thanks for this great mod!
Ghost Fox (ΘΔ) 17 Nov @ 2:42pm
@CitesSkyliner: Or cybrxkhan could not feed the hallucination engine, and instead quite properly refuse to acknowledge its output as relevant. It knows nothing and understands even less.
CitesSkyliner 17 Nov @ 2:19pm
@Ghost Fox (ΘΔ): Ask that to your employer who sees the benefits and replaces you with a far cheaper Large Language Model! And @cybrxkhan: Any Large Language Model is a incredibly advanced pattern predictor. The more documented something is the easier it is for a Large Language Model to predict. The CK3 script is far less documented then say the Bible. If you have problems with it you could stop or try to give it more information about the CK3 script by directly dumping it in with a prompt.
Ghost Fox (ΘΔ) 16 Nov @ 10:58pm
Remember, ChatGPT is nothing but a hallucination engine. It knows nothing and understands even less.
cybrxkhan  [author] 16 Nov @ 10:27pm
@Jabrolsky ChatGPT doesn't understand anything about CK3 script, it is notoriously clueless about these things. What it says below is pretty much gibberish from a modding standpoint which is very common when asking ChatGPT about PI modding, so I'd avoid it at all costs. There is a jester_stress_relief_events.txt but it is a vanilla file which VIET does not touch at all; as another example, "save_event_target_as" doesn't mean anything in CK3 code. As mentioned, it is likely this is caused by a vanilla bug, it apparently has gotten worse with AUH as AUH introduced a lot of new art, which is how it might be affecting mods that were previously fine. See this Reddit thread for instance for a similar discussion of the issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/CK3AGOT/comments/1oyatpg/broken_icons/
Commodus 15 Nov @ 2:32am
Exact Match: events/jester_stress_relief_events.txt line: 510 (jester.500:immediate) + jester.500:option = Custom jester stress relief event chain (Royal Court DLC position). Event tries to save_event_target_as = jester but jester character is null (no court jester assigned) → Cascades to progress_towards_rival_effect, set_relation_potential_rival, add_opinion failures (09:44:52 spam). This causes runtime CTDs/softlocks during court activities.

Mod Confirmed: VIET Events (your list: enabled)

Hey, I asked chat gpt to identify my crashing issue, I have no idea what the above means:P

If it helps. im playing as an adventuere, so maybe its a stooge ineraction:/ idk
Jabrolsky 14 Nov @ 11:03pm
@cybrxkhan Ah I see, understood. It makes sense because it is a 90 mod list and I've never had problems with VIET in the past.
cybrxkhan  [author] 14 Nov @ 9:47pm
@Jabrolsky If I'm understanding you correctly, this might actually be a vanilla bug that affects mods, particularly large mods or mod lists. I'm not too privvy on the details but based on what I've heard from some TC modders, who've tested extensively, it is possible for the game to start behaving in various funny ways, including disappearing artifact icons, especially if you have large mods or a lot of mods running, at some point in a save.

I believe I've also seen similar bug reports for vanilla about disappearing court artifacts with AUH or with earlier builds of the game, especially if you're running a large mod list, but it appears to have happened in modless vanilla too from what I've heard.
Jabrolsky 14 Nov @ 3:34pm
Anyone else experiencing artefact icons going invisible with VIET in 50 year + runs. it's fine at the start but eventually the artefact icons become invisible, this makes court display invisible too. I moved VIET to the top and bottom of my load order but only disabling it brought my artefacts back, anyone else?
CitesSkyliner 13 Nov @ 8:51am
@cassius: It is obvious that you are referring to me. I like this mod greatly! Unless cybrxkhan completely ruins this mod I will still use it and enjoy it.
cassius 12 Nov @ 6:01pm
anytime i see insane people on steam crash out at people who make unfathomable amounts of free content i feel the need to stop by and say thank u for all u do <3
Potato 10 Nov @ 8:01pm
thanks magical mod creator person love u xoxo
CitesSkyliner 10 Nov @ 10:15am
There is a alternative option of course: wasting your time insulting avatars.
Kubrick 9 Nov @ 3:24am
This comment is awaiting analysis by our automated content check system. It will be temporarily hidden until we verify that it does not contain harmful content (e.g. links to websites that attempt to steal information).
cybrxkhan  [author] 8 Nov @ 11:25am
@Poison Junkie: That is also an option too, for sure lol 😂
Poison Junkie 8 Nov @ 9:26am
Since there is no option to disable those events... there is an alternative option called unsubscribe. If you don't like it, don't use it.
cybrxkhan  [author] 7 Nov @ 9:02pm
@CitesSkyliner There are 1000+ events in VIET, I don't have time to sort through every single one of them and decide and modify their code based on whether they fit a game rule based on one person's interpretation of what would be historically plausible. I'm really sorry, but this seems like something that would work better as a sub-mod.
Paragon 6 Nov @ 8:22pm
Bros crashing out about a literal joke lmao
tilarium 6 Nov @ 7:59am
Then, like Cybrxkhan said, make your own sub-mod for this to remove the things you don't want to see.
CitesSkyliner 6 Nov @ 7:10am
I just want a option to disable the events that are based on something egregiously far away on the timeline. Vanilla has the problem of nothing happening or the opposite. I am the leader of the Roman Empire yet everybody ignored me or will not stop pausing the game thorough constant events.
cybrxkhan  [author] 5 Nov @ 9:16pm
@CitesSkyliner Look, you clearly don't like the events, and that's fine! (I think there's probably more actual immersion breaking nonsense in vanilla.) You aren't going to change my mind about what I consider reasonable or not reasonable for these events, so If you don't like the events, you're welcome to try making your own sub-mod that disables the ones you think are immersion breaking, I have no problem with that.
CitesSkyliner 5 Nov @ 7:00am
People may have similar senses of humor, but would those jokes have been remembered and written down or did only 1 small group of people know about it? Even if the joke from 1412 existed in 880 how many people would know about it for it to be referenced to you the player? Would it make sense for you to get the event if only 1 random peasant half-way across the world from you knew the joke?
cybrxkhan  [author] 4 Nov @ 6:11pm
@CitesSkyliner I see no reason why someone couldn't theoretically think of a joke attested in one date in another date if there's nothing really specific to that time period in the joke, as people have shared similar senses of humor across time. Plus, that would just be our earliest attested case of that joke, it's entirely possible an exact similar joke might have been around much longer.
CitesSkyliner 4 Nov @ 9:14am
And cybrxkhan some events do make a lot sense in RICE. For example: The activity to go to the Micheal the archangel travel option is perfectly fine. Multiple sources from multiple eras attest to people doing that.
CitesSkyliner 4 Nov @ 9:09am
I still see a problem if the date range is ridiculous off. Does a very specific joke from a book written in 1411 make sense being referenced in 879?
cybrxkhan  [author] 3 Nov @ 7:11pm
@CitesSkyliner: The context may be from a certain date, but that doesn't necessarily mean whatever it describes was only in that date. For instance, a joke being from so and so date doesn't mean people wouldn't have thought of similar jokes before. Or, something from a certain date might just be a famous recorded instance of it happening, so other instances from other time periods may be possible. These events are mostly designed to be "minor" enough and genericized enough to feasibly have happened across much of the CK3 timeframe. The few that aren't, such as the 1006 Supernova, are triggered at an appropriate timeframe.

@F5 Danny: Thanks!

Gracias por la traducción al español en especial a Ferchu!!
