Current Version: 0.85.7Updated for Roads to Power

Hey, everyone, we have a Discord server[discord.gg] now! Please report your bugs and requests here!

I discovered that there's a limit to description length, so for the full list of features, check the README. Here's a high-level overview of things that are changed:
Features:
  • CELTS: Added the Gaelic, Brythonic, Gaulic religions, new traditions, and MaA.
  • MEDITERRANEAN: Added several new Hellenic cultures, revised the Greco-Roman religions, and added a decision to convert to the Roman culture.
  • EGYPT: Added Egyptian religion, a decision to restore the empire, new cultures, and new heraldry.
  • CAUCASUS: Complete overhaul.
  • HINDOKUSH: Complete overhaul.
  • SLAVS: Broken into the various peoples that they were during the time period.
  • ARCTIC: Broke up "Ukonusko" religion into more localized pieces.
  • BALKANS: Added Albanian culture and religion.
  • MECHANICS: Added fourth religion slot and lowered penalty for interfaith marriage acceptance.
  • MAP: Added a lot of historical forest that Paradox is missing for some reason; added "forested hills" terrain type.

Yeah, my documentation at the moment isn’t great because I’ve been prioritizing development. I hope to fix that someday, though. Currently the best way to see the faiths is just in game. As a warning, there seems to be some wonkiness with the cultures in the ruler designer, as well, but it seems to be working in game; Fixing that’s top of the list for the moment.

I like the look of this mod but I would appreciate if there was more information about the faiths listed, like a list or something of each religion and its holy sites. Other than that its good

Also, it looks like I’ve fallen out of synch with RICE, and they’re no longer compatible. I’m working on that.

If you’re talking about coming from vanilla, then a new save is required, because I had to do some stuff in the latest version in working toward compatibility with Cultures Expanded.

Hey, @SoulCleave! I’ve updated the link to the server. Does it work now?

As for your issue, that bug you see in the log is a know issue, and that error is repeated hundreds of times in the log. It’s caused by a mismatch between entries in different files. I’m still looking for the culprit.

But I don’t think it’s the cause of your CTD. It’s something that only
runs during initialization, and I’ve never seen it cause a crash before. Do you see the same issue when you play with only Paganism Plus loaded? I can try to look into it when I get a chance, but that likely won’t be until mid December with all the assignments they’re giving us.

i am having a bunch of errors that i finally managed to track down to this mod, and seeing your comment about the localization errors, heres one thats causing a CTD for me:
[04:13:42][E][jomini_script_system.cpp:284]: Script system error!
Error: Failed to fetch variable for 'language_branch' due to not being set
Script location: file: common/scripted_triggers/ccu_API.txt line: 110 (has_a_creole_language_trigger)
file: common/script_values/01_starting_values_CCU_overwrite.txt line: 96 (culture_acceptance_baseline)
