Vanilla Cooking Expanded - Sushi

Description
[www.patreon.com]

Vanilla Cooking Expanded - Sushi is another sub-module to the new Vanilla Cuisine Expanded mod series. This particular mod introduces sushi and the advanced art of sushi making, utilising everyone’s favourite rice, as well as fish from Vanilla Fishing Expanded.

The healthiest food on earth, sushi comes divided into vanilla meal categories, but it can be made either using mostly rice and little fish, or mostly fish and little rice. For those particularly insane, an option to deep fry sushi is also available!

We are not ending there - you can also craft two new condiments - wasabi paste and soy sauce!

Vanilla Cooking Expanded - Sushi mechanics can be seen described below:

There shouldn’t be any incompatibilities or issues, but in case anything pops up, report issues in the Google form.

Q: Do I need the Vanilla Cooking Expanded mod for this to work?
A: Yes, it is using the new soup cooking mechanic we introduced in VCE.

Q: Can I suggest a feature?
A: Absolutely, leave a comment down below!

Q: Soybeans to tofu!
A: No. Growable meats are cheaty, as they invalidate a whole portion of the vanilla game: hunting. We'll probably never add a growable meat substitute. Also, tofu was banned Galaxy-wide in 4765 after the Tofu-Mechanoid Wars.
But seriously, if you want tofu so bad, there is a third party add-on: https://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2237826966

Q: haha, funny, but are you adding tofu?
A: Unfortunately, I am afflicted by a rare mental disorder where I can't add tofu to mods.

Q: No, seriously, I want tofu in this mod
A: How dare you? Tofu killed my mom. I am so outraged by this that I have just added tofu to the mod and then deleted it immediately

Q: Will you keep updating the mod with new types of meals?
A: This mod is feature-complete - it’s literally a small module for the main Cooking mod. If you have a suggestion for a new module, please ask for it on the main Cooking mod comment section.

Q: Is this mod save game compatible?
A: Yes, you can add it whenever you like. Removing a mod from an active save is usually heavily discouraged, it will cause problems somewhere down the line

Q: CE compatible?
A: はい、このアップグレードは何とでも互換性があります!

I just liked GrowthSeasonNow with base.Position too instead of just base.Map. I dont like my soybeans being aware of the outside temperature.

Well, it IS wasabi, the hardest plant to grow in the world
Nalaz 24 Jul @ 5:42pm
I see. I had no idea soybean sitting in an artificial ecosystem in 20 °C supposed to have 10% growth rate because its cold outside or wasabi disappearing after a couple of hours is a thing. Thanks for the quick answer!

Wasabi's and soybean's growth rate is based on the outside temperature, not the indoor one they are planted in. After outside reaches their minimum growth temperature soybean's growth rate normalizes and wasabi straight up "disappears". Tested with hydroponics, sunlamp, heater and sub 0 temperatures outside. Using only this mod and its dependencies.

Now that it comes with fishing, can this mod be used without the Vanilla Fishing Expanded?

Will vanilla Fishing Still be required after the Odyssee Update?

Would it be possible for rock crab and hermit crab meat from Odyssey to show up as options for sushi?
