Save file related crashes

We've had reports of games crashing when selecting a save, starting a shift, or being unable to proceed after a certain level in Story mode. We tried our hardest to replicate these issues to no avail unfortunately. If you're having these issues I have set up a Google Form where you can upload your save data so that we can better understand the problem....

Game Won't start

Since the update my game will not start. My computer says it can''t run Vulkan as my video driver is too weak. Is there a workaround for this or am I just unable to play the game now. (that would really suck cause I am loving it). When I do try to run it, it says something also about reverting back to OpenGl3, and suggests booting from a command line prompt. I was unable to make this work from cmd. Thank you....

Rendering - We've switched to Godot's Forward+ rendering option which will result in snappier performance.
Note: If you are now unable to run the game because of this change then a possible solution may be to add the following flag --rendering-driver opengl3 in the launch options in Properties > General.

1.0.7 patch update

Hello cashiers,

We have a small patch that hopefully fixes some issues.

Fixes

Overtime Mode - Due to an oversight, the game would try to reference some data from your save file. If you had not created a save file or a save file had not been loaded then it would crash as a result.
Multiple Save Slots - When creating more than one save, previous data was not properly cleared and caused new data to inherit previous data values.
Skipping Tutorial - Some people could not skip the tutorial video. I'm not sure if this was a bug or a result of bad design. Initially, you had to wait for the prompt to disappear before pressing and holding the escape key. Now it should work immediately when the prompt appears. Take notice of the circular loading icon in the upper right hand corner that indicates time pressed remaining before the skip takes place.

Save file related crashes

If you're having these issues I have set up a Google Form[forms.gle] where you can upload your save data so that we see if it's due to a corrupted save file. Instructions on how to do this are in the form.

I'll also have a pinned discussion where these issues can be consolidated.

Not getting any achievements

Not sure if I missed an announcement somewhere, but I'm not getting any achievements. Nothing I'm doing is counting. I'm in story mode and have completed a shift, got 3 stars, talked to a co-worker, etc. and still nothing is registering. :(

Absolutely LOVED what I've played of it so far but I'm super short on cash at the moment so can't pick the full game up any time soon - is there any chance the demo will get future updates?

I laughed more than I care to admit playing this because of all the retail jokes. Fantastic.
Beyond that, the gameplay is fun. Scanning, matching, sorting...it has a lot of those speedy decisions to make for optimization but not so much that it slows you down. The graphics and music are fun as well.

Overall, this is a chill game with a lot of heart and humor.

Steam deck/controller support?

Just wondering if there are any plans to implement steam deck/ controller support would love to play this but unfortunately only have a steam deck. I understand it just came out and the goal and main focus is to make sure the game is running smoothly but it would be awesome if that is in the future plans?! :) if it is in the plan, do you have an anticipated timeline of when you’ll be planning to implement it? Just curious! thanks!...
