Mod load order and troubleshooting
Recommended mod load order:
You can refer to this reference guide[stellaris.paradoxwikis.com], it is certainly useful. And every following mod is optional:

When you add multiple mods, it is always good to add a rules mod for extra compatibility. These are my personal recommendations.

Other useful mods:
  • This mod pairs nicely with ! Sartek Economy District Merger Add-on further increase compatibility and how well mods interact with each other.
  • UI Overhaul Dynamic - Ascension Slots is a must-have if you plan to use ascension mods, it allows you to have more slots and gives you an expensive repeatable-tech to unlock more during late game.
  • UI Overhaul Dynamic - 64 Tradition slots is of course just a personal recommendation and the number of traditions is arbitrary, you can pick anywhere from 12 (Recommended if you only run GIgastructures and NSC2 for example), all the way to 80 (If you heavily modded your game with a lot of tradition mods).
  • !Lots of Traditions - Reduced Tradition Costs PT is a must-have if you plan to use ascension/traditions mods, it simulates tradition cost reduction like In Plentiful Traditions. I tested "!Lots of Traditions - slightly reduced costs" and if you have two or more tradition mods (as big as ESAP or UAP) then traditions would be too expensive in mid game and you won't even reach 1/3 of your tradition list; which is why I'm recommending "Reduced Tradition Costs PT" instead. Please note that you don't need !Lots of Traditions variants if you are already running "UI Overhaul - Tradition slots". "Reduced Tradition Costs PT" works perfectly with UI Overhaul.
  • As an alternative, you can use Tidy Traditions add-ons to add slots to traditions, ascension perks and ways to obtain them.
  • More Events Mod and Gigastructures patch (If you run only MEM and Giga this is a viable option but DO NOT use this patch and my merger together as it could cause conflicts since they change the same APs)

Advanced instructions:
  • It is now recommended that you start a new game since there are effects or events that you could've missed if you already activated certain perks.
  • Run the game a few in-game days after 01.01.2200 if you find that you are missing any perks (or effects within perks) at the beginning of the game. Because several mod events don't start until they have been loaded properly, I advise against choosing any perks during the first in-game days. This advice is especially relevant for those that use mods that add AP points, origins that give you extra Unity, AP slots right away, or just for individuals who start out using cheats or debugging.

Obsolete instructions that might still work (untested):
  • If you still use ANZ Patch: Forgotten Queens (Discontinued) Please note that you need to download this[mega.nz] and paste it in this mod's EVENT subfolder. Only use this file if you use/activate Expanded Gestalts: Forgotten Queens with ANZ Patch: Forgotten Queens
