I like you improving the default non-playable race Fenerox in Starbound.
When Chucklefish made this game and Fenerox they had to deal with game code limits.
And they never focused on going back and fixing things as they updated.
You little fix is great! Thank you!

SAD KING - You do realize that this is a race in vanilla Starbound, right? This mod gives that race a proper tail instead of having them wear the prehistoric tail costume piece.

Thank you, Lord Dylan. I havn't tested it, but this might actually work on a server that dosn't have the mod depending on how much client and server files must match in Starbound. If the server takes full control on how NPCs are created (which I assume it would), and the player's files are ignored (maybe, maybe not), then it should hypothetically work. Still, I'd recommend asking a server admin or something rather or not you can try this before attempting it.

I'd love to download this, a shame I play on a server though.

The colorbound mod dosn't affect Fenerox, at least as far as I know. It will work with colorbound though if it does change Fenerox colors.

Honestly, most of what haters say would either reflect the hater's stupidity or hypocrisy. Either way not helping the part of society that remains the same behavior as someone who treated other races like dirt back in the pre-60s. I would very much like to see that too. I think the TanzNukeTerror is working on a huge update for his mod. Until then, there is nothing stoping you from giving the Fenerox in the game a proper tail ;)

Talking about the mod you linked in the description, by the way.

Really want to play as this race but I'm still waiting for them to get dialogue for when you examine objects. For me, that's half the fun of the game. Seeing what your character has to say when looking at various random things. More than a few laughs were had because of that feature. :D

It patches some files that deal with fennerox, which might cause it to be server side, but is otherwise just a client side mod as it primairly changes the sprite of the fennerox. I don't know how Starbound handles NPC spawning so I can't say for certain.
