* this decision came well and long before b42's actual beta release so I'd be happy to revisit!
We know stuff.
We know stuff that can help people on Zombie Apocalypse.
By all means! Of course! Modding isn't about notoriety or monetary gain, it's about ultimately enhancing the gameplay of a game you enjoy :) Please, use anything you need, the entire code base as well as images are on my GitHub: https://github.com/tycrowe/pz-mods-dubs-profession-mod
Happy modding!
I’m a newcomer to the world of modding, and I’m seeking to study and learn by referencing your mod. I’d like to know if I may use some of your images or assets as references for my work. If you prefer I don’t use them, please let me know. I have no intention of using your work without permission.
If you’ve already expressed such a wish and I missed it, I apologize for not noticing. Should I use your work in my mod, I will clearly credit it both within the mod files and on the description page.
I respect your work greatly and hope for your understanding. Thank you.
Still works as of yesterday :) I'm still active but like most of the modding community, I'm not really looking to add new features until b42 drops.
Or will it restart it
Thank you.
Hey! I didn't have an older version that didn't match the quality, so I figured out what was wrong with the current version of this mod and adding a mapping table that should support the legacy build. You can download it here: (https://github.com/tycrowe/pz-mods-dubs-profession-mod/releases/tag/pz%2Flegacy40-dpm%2Fv1.0.1)
Let me know if this helps!
If you want you can go trough the trouble of uploading the archived B40 version of this mod! It's just some professions that are iffed up/
If you do have problems, let me know. I think I can pull older versions of my mods.
That's an awesome call-out! I had assumed that drills would be found along the Ohio River but after consulting with google, I think I'm mistaken!
I do take a lot of pride in insuring these professions are balanced to gameplay but also balanced to lore. I will make sure the next update includes contextual changes based on the region.
Thank you!
One little thing, 'Offshore Worker' should really be changed to something just like 'Drill Worker' because what am I doing in landlocked Kentucky? There is plenty of oil drilling in Kentucky but no ocean.
In general I think when adding more professions you should focus on how they feel in the setting just as meticulously as you have on balance (Just my opinion.) One thing that makes zomboid great is how grounded it feels in the setting.
Keep up the great work 🤍
That is to say, if you select Entrepreneur, the game will pick three of the nine traits and give you a 2.5x multiplier :) Hope this helps! I'll update the description with examples. But it's entirely random what type of "Entrepreneur" you will be.
I would like to create the translation for PTBR!
