Dub's Profession Mod

Description
Description:
Dub's Profession Mod for build 41+ returns with 30* new vanilla-like professions, each balanced out to the best of my ability.
Note, this mod does NOT override, change or otherwise mess with the vanilla professions.

*Note the description USED to read "84", I have since reduced this number to focus on balancing the ones I added before I add a slew of new ones. I want to work up to what I released, but casually and address and imbalance that may arise!

Balancing Algorithm:
Available in the source code of the project, see below GitHub links for balancing sheet as of 1/16/2022.

Entrepreneur:
Lots of people ask about entrepreneur, so here's a breakdown! When you select the "entrepreneur" profession, three of the nine traits are selected and given a 2.5x multiplier to a max level of 2. Furthermore, entrepreneurs have the passive "natural learner" trait, which gives you a small boost to trait gaining (for all skills).

The traits: Cooking, Woodwork, Farming, Fishing, Trapping, Tailoring, Metalworking, Electricity and Mechanics (note these are trait names from the source, your localization will have different interpretations.)

Caveat: Since the multiplier won't go past level two, any trait that gives you a bonus greater than level 2 will not receive additional multipliers. For example, if you select angler, and the system randomly decides to award you a bonus in fishing, you will not get the bonus since your fishing skill is beyond level two.

Compatibly:
Mod now works with build 41+, both multiplayer and singleplayer tested. DPM does NOT require any other mods to work.

If you were willing to revisit your decision and see you way to kits for b41, that'd be very appreciated!

Great question! I did, but I figured since b42 was right around the corner* and was going to release a whole slew of new objects, I'd wait.

* this decision came well and long before b42's actual beta release so I'd be happy to revisit!

Thank you @Knoahty for your efforts! I'm still using B41 and I was wondering whether you'd settled on a kit balance you were happy with for the professions?

Is there a B42 update in the works yet?

@퐁퐁돼지아빠

By all means! Of course! Modding isn't about notoriety or monetary gain, it's about ultimately enhancing the gameplay of a game you enjoy :) Please, use anything you need, the entire code base as well as images are on my GitHub: https://github.com/tycrowe/pz-mods-dubs-profession-mod

Happy modding!

Dear Senior Modder,
I’m a newcomer to the world of modding, and I’m seeking to study and learn by referencing your mod. I’d like to know if I may use some of your images or assets as references for my work. If you prefer I don’t use them, please let me know. I have no intention of using your work without permission.
If you’ve already expressed such a wish and I missed it, I apologize for not noticing. Should I use your work in my mod, I will clearly credit it both within the mod files and on the description page.
I respect your work greatly and hope for your understanding. Thank you.

Need more than just an all caps response @grelanez. Other mods or even a debug log would be great. I play with my buddies with over 80+ mods on our private server with this and it seems to work fine!
