You just need t owait for steam to stop being stupid and work again.
@holidays99
Just ignore it.
The main menu buttons addons just add a button to open the launcher menu.
You'll need to updathe both the ui mod as well as tumtara.
help?
Go to addons/workshop and find 469986973.vpk. That's TUMTaRA.
All you need to do is unpack it with crowbar, rename the folder you get to "tumtara".
you coudl either keep that folder in the addons folder there, or mount it via the gameinfo.txt
If you had used a UI mod that added the launcher menu i had made, that menu is now inside of this addon, which the UI mod accesses. This way i don't need to update three mods at once.
You might need to wait a bit for all addons to download, which steam is unfortunately having a bit of an issue the fast few days since that outage.
Please do not leave a comment tell me about it, or asking me to fix it.
You will just have to wait for steam to fix it.
I have no idea why that mod would do that, and i can do nothing about it, because its not up to me to always fix other peoples junk
Someone in the D4M discord mentioned it happened after installing one of manacat's mods.
This map is not to blame for this issue.
Once again, someone elses mod breaking things that can be seen here.
The weapons are not being spawned after map spawn, there is nothing other than the rotating platforms they are parented to either.
They're a single weapon spawn entity and that is it. Just like any other map would have them.
They also change some cvars, so you need to reboot the game after using it.
The only unusual thing about it are two nuc files that don't even have any content in it.
And even those will only conflict with a very small percentage of script mods.
RNG skin mods are also a massive cause of crashes.
IF you have one map with all the entities you modded show up all at once, that can happen.
Try using the maps that onyl have the players, or only have the weapons. those load less entities and should therefore load without crashing. Cause even in normal gameplay you have better optimized maps that won't load all of it at once.
The only thing that changed in the last few updates is the missionfile and including new materials.
It wouldn't load half the addon data when loading it one way. There's some other unknown tomfoolery at play.
But you click that "Subscribe" button under the images, launch the game and wait for it to download.
Then you can use the ingame console and enter "Map tumtara" to load this map and look at your mods. (minus the " ofc)
the FAQ in the description also shows you how to enable the ingame console, in case you don't know how.
If anything changed since then, it wouldn't be because of the map but your system or game.
