I've thought about it, definitely. But a lot of the povinces I added have since been added to the vanilla game, as well as other new features which would require me to spend days working on revamping the entire file structure etc.
Along with that, for the most part I've stopped playing EU4 haha. That being said they are updating culture in the new expansion so maybe there's still a chance I'll get around to it :)
Also, the No Straits version of the mod failed to update yesterday, so that's now added finally. Sorry for any trouble!

And again, thank you for this! I never know how many Spanish etc. people use the mod, and I sometimes wonder if they get annoyed that I can't translate it :(

There should be a zip file called something like 'New More Straits'. That's this mod, open it up with winrar or something, and then go to \localisation and there you are.
When both Spanish files are complete, extract them and send a link using mediafire etc., and I'll update the mod with the new files :)
If you're ok with that, then afterwards you can send me the two new Spanish files using mediafire or something, and I can stick them in an update to the mod - I'd give you credit in the description but I'm locked out of editing it for some reason - I can't even change the title right now :(
That would help me a great deal if you could manage that, thank you ^^
As for fixing it, would you possibly be able to supply the localisations for Spanish yourself? The province names are in the English localisation from PROV3004 onwards - I have no idea how to speak Spanish, so I'm just not able to fix the Spanish Province name and Province adjective localisations.
But obviously it's your choice, I realise you'd probably rather play the game :P I only ask because I'm not able to do it.
PD: I've also noticed that the steam page with "no straits" is not working (at least for me)
French, German and Spanish localisation for provinces and province adjectives is not in place, as I have no idea how to speak any of these languages haha. If anyone could provide help with this, it would be greatly appreciated.
@tsk92, at the very least I think the Devon issue is fixed. Have you got any other mods in play? And if you can't figure out what it might be, try to verify game files and unsubscribe + re-subscribe to the mod, that might clear it.
Also apologies for leaving the mod page on hidden for half an hour, lol. I completely forgot :p
In any case, the update should be done in a couple minutes.
1.12, less provinces due to Paradox using some of my ideas in vanilla :P
There may be some issues with the provinces file (unit placements and stuff), but I'm far too ill to work on that, it's a very tedious job. I hope that doesn't stop you from enjoying it though! :)
The past few days I've tried to get as much work done on this as I can, but it's been very difficult. Firstly, I've come down with a nasty bug and I'm not getting any sleep, which is not the best. The massive updates Paradox made in 1.12 are difficult to get around, it's taking a lot of time to sync everything up properly. And also, I'm having to balance making this mod with my main occupation, which is making music.
In short, I'm ill and there's a lot of tedious work to do, but I *will* get around to it. And also, I'm looking towards making a couple updates in the future with more provinces in Scandinavia mostly. Any suggestions are very welcome!
If you use the mod while it's unbalanced and find anything that you think should be balanced, let me know here and I'll put it in the list. I'm hoping to add quite a lot more provinces now that each province isn't a centralised, important fort territory, you know? More potential for Vicky 2 / HoI3 style provinces ^^
I'll put those other suggestions on the list for now - my computer is being repaired (new gpu and ram and all sorts of shizzle, even the case is being changed), and at the moment they're having to re-copy a few TBs of data back over from the faulty drives, etc. etc...
It's getting there, but it's going to be a while before I can even get back into the swing of things, and not to mention the upcoming patch that's going to screw over the development of this mod in a major way. So, hopefully yes these suggestions will be implemented soon enough, but unfortunately it will all have to wait until the new EU4 patch comes out, because jesus christ do I have a lot of work coming up with all the map changes and stuff...
Sorry for such a long comment, hope it helps though :)
Also it would be nice if you set production of Arnsberg to Copper, Lippe Grain, Wolfsburg Grain,
Weimar Copper, Halle Copper,Nordhorn Grain,Kleve Iron
However once I can update the mod again, I will turn the settings down for both versions, though I don't know where exactly to start. I'll need to fiddle around a little bit first, but it should be fine in the end. I agree with what you're saying, 10000 is way too high lol.
If it's the former then it would take 4 versions. (with and without straits, with and without points on each.) and if it's the latter, just separate it into 3 mods. (with and without straits, then a mod that increases points.)
I would guess it's the latter, but I've seen some fucked up modding environments before.
Do what you want, they're your mods. This is just my 2 cents. Thanks for your time!
