Any plans to do Vietnam-era? Or perhaps modern warfare (year 2000+) ?
I want to express my gratitude to you for your help with advice.
Thanks to you, I was able to do what I asked you about))
I want to ask, is it possible within the framework of this game, to make a mod that over time restores buildings destroyed by battles with the Legion?
Because in sector H9, the warehouse building was completely destroyed.
And the site in its place looks very deserted.
The trouble with this sector is that the Legion soldiers find themselves under a wooden platform at the beginning of the battle.
Because the platform itself was repeatedly subjected to explosions.
It would be really cool! If the buildings (local residents) were rebuilt.
my plan is to import all the assets available from the COD files, but the textures are very different from the ones used in JA3 engine, right now the mod is broken in my GPU, I don't know if this is the case for everyone but I am re-exporting all the assets from the beginning, sorry for the delay this will cause. If the issue remains I will need to skip some of the assets, I will try to fix as many as I can.
Please tell me how to change not only the appearance of the selected mercenary, but also, say, change his name or biography?
I'm trying to do something similar with "Wolf" or "Scope", but the mod editor eventually freezes and does not allow me to change anything!
Thank you.
I started making mods and changing the appearance of some mercenaries)) I tried to fix some inaccuracies with offsets, but some flaws cannot be fixed with them.
For example, rare hair with bald spots.
They are rare in themselves.
They can be raised higher, lower, twisted, but they will remain rare) The editor functions will not change their texture) As well as the head divided (from above) into four color cells)
So that these warpaints could be used not only with new heads, but also with any others, including the heads of A.I.M mercenaries
The idea itself is great!
But it's some small details that aren't fully processed that spoil the appearance.
For example: some hairstyles look as if the hair is slightly separated from the scalp. They seem to float above it, or the hair is too sparse and it creates the feeling that the character is bald or has a receding hairline. Some faces have stripes, dots, as if some color gaps on the neck. When you select a character in modding and start viewing their movement animations, some heads look clearly divided into four cells. In general, it would be great to add more muscular bodies to the game, in shirts, T-shirts, body armor, etc.
There are also identical-looking types of heads, numbered (unfortunately I don’t remember the name) 1 and 40. There are no differences between them, but for some reason they come in two versions.
It still needs a lot of work before uploading.
There are many visual errors and inaccuracies.
