Apparently the herald is an elemental, rather than a construct. Which also would fit the Tome of the Creator.

I'd love a version of this that added the Herald of War to the Tome of the Creator as well as chaos. That tome already needs some love, and I thought it fit with a constructs playthrough more than demons, considering it's in the Reaver camps with Ironclads and such.

It would be nice to also add the summoning of the earth titan not only during battle, but also on a permanent basis in the matter master’s volume.

@Dissonance of Fate Not right now I don't. I may at some point add Mage Bane to a Tome, but I won't give it a mind control or rename it

I'm thinking about creating a mod to add a spell to summon the "Mage Bane" to an Astral tome. I would copy the Mage Bane and rename it to "Eldritch Horror" and give it a mind control spell. Do you have plans to do something like that? Or do you know any other mod that already do this? If you don't have any plans, I will make this mod, but I think this spell would fit your mod.

This is just a suggestion, but for the Ghost Ship, you could make it like the Reaper, where it costs fewer casting points but uses souls instead of mana to summon. Although I can understand leaving it as it is, since that means it won't be eating into the soul economy.

Totally understandable. I understand why they prevented players from getting the Herald of War, but it does feel strange how stuff like the Karagh is unavailable through normal means, even though it isn't that impressive of a unit overall.

I don't want to actually mess with the units too much, this is meant to be a fairly light, kind of fuck around mod for people who'd like to get to play with some of the unobtainable T5 units. Adding High Maintenance to the Herald of War was just because it's probably the strongest unit in the game, but didn't have High Maintenance since it's supposed to be impossible for players to get normally.

Thank you. Nature is a pretty good choice, as the tier 5 nature tome doesn't have much overall.

I do have a few other thoughts I would like to mention. Have you considered making the Herald of War a fiend to allow a bit more synergy with chaos tomes? 

As it is currently an elemental, it would benefit more from the Tome of the Creator, but if it were both an elemental and a fiend, that might prove interesting. The same goes for the Karagh; I believe it technically counts as a giant/demigiant. But allowing it to count as an animal as well would allow some synergy with nature tomes.

These are only suggestions, of course. If you don't like the idea, find it too immersion/lore breaking, etc. No worries; I just thought I would offer them to make the units a bit more enticing, as it is rather hard to get any sort of buff for most mythic units.

Yeah I may as well add summon Karagh to the Nature Tomes, sounds good to me

I'm not sure if you have any plans to do anything else with this mod, but the Karagh is another Tier V unit that you can't really get through any normal means, so it might fit in well here.
