Hi all , it's just to say thanks to this mod, and since last patch my game is only in english with this mod activate (i'm french).

So ... it will be possible to fix it ?

I had an idea that one method is assigned to one culture, making them more unique.
Like: mana - mistics
knowledge - dark,
(maybe reavers - war spoils) etc
But is it even possible..idk, anyway great mod and nod for Aow3 :steamhappy:

Okay, so people may enjoy hearing what the error was. I accidentally made it so that Stable (10 to 39) stability gave you a +5% bonus to stability. Orderly, did not have a bonus to happiness. So what would happen, if you had say, 39 stability, the bonus would knock you up into 40+...then you would fall back down once you lost the bonus. Then you would go back up with the bonus. Then you would go back down with the bonus...

@SuperNerd000 Thanks for the information. I always had the same issue with Perfectionist Artisans. I did some tweaks, and it started working for me again. Uploaded it, and hopefully it works now

@Kaige I did that and am still getting the hangups, though after more testing I have found it only seems to happen when I try to start a game and it includes certain civs. I (currently) believe the issue may be with civs that have the Perfectionist Artisans culture trait.

@SuperNerd000 Hey, I just tried booting the game up with just this mod, and got one of my friends to do it as well. Please unsubscribe from the mod and resubscribe. Sometimes when a lot of updates are made Steam doesn't automatically update to the latest version

It seems like after today's update, the game hangs indefinitely while starting a new game.

Fwiw, I understand the feeling that food is often more useful than stability, the reasoning for my change is that converting draft to stability makes immediate sense to me, it's you using your local military to suppress the people/enforce the laws/keep the peace etc. Draft to Food conversion on the other hand doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, at least it doesn't make more sense than a production to Food conversion

Yeah I'm right there with you Yodarkore. Was reading the description all exited then got to the draft to stability part and was super let down. Stability has always kind of been a nonfactor to me. Getting over 40 for the 10% bonus to food/production is super easy. Id rather have a flat 25% to food when I'm not producing units than maybe be able to push up over 80 stability for that extra 5%...

Can you make another version of your mod keeping the draft to food conversion, or at least let us have the choice between draft to food and draft to whatever? In my current playtrough I already took care of stability in my cities and I need that draft to food conversion.. I just noticed that draft to stability thing, tought it was a bug, came straight here checking... :p I'm disabling your mod until then, but anyway thanks for your work on that mod, the concept is great... at least if you can still have choice to keep the regular "vanilla" conversion (prod to gold, draft to food) along the other conversions your mod enable :)

While it would be possible to lock a conversion method behind a building with the current setup, the problem is the building would unlock the conversion method for all cities. The current code setup allows you to put conditions on conversion methods for player, but not for cities.

I think I have a solution. What if you create a new structure that is restricted only to the throne city and with that unique structure built unlocks the conversion for imperium for the throne city.

Making it only work in throne city would be interesting. If it were possible it'll be also interesting with the limitation it locks while the throne leader is dead. If there was a way to limit the imperium conversion to the throne city what would be the (%)?

@Xiphos Fraznoir If I could limit an Imperium conversion mode to just the Throne City, I would add it. As is, Imperium is generally meant to be a resource that you can't make more of by being bigger, so I don't want to add a conversion method that can be used in every city.

@Xiphos Fraznoir It's still possible to use the food from draft conversion to lower the cost of boosting population, but you have to clear the queue first of units.

@selfisthtoaser Not sure what you mean. The extra conversion methods aren't in the base game.

I think it would be called something like "Give a Speech" to produce imperium if the turn goes through.

I have a interesting idea after seeing the new salvage binding essence. Also the draft tab that is used for food is a very good balance choice I like it. What if you added a convert 5% of production into Imperium. Before I decided to fully send this message I decided to use the calculator on my PC. Lets say my city makes 168 production a turn that will make it 168x0.05=8.4 I think its mainly like 8 imperium. But as 7.5% would be 168x0.075=12.6
I think it might be very interesting to try.

Did you fix the part where if I 1st select food but without ending my turn I noticed the gain population fast that cost Example:(120 Imperium is 80 instead) because food is in the 1st queue. I grab increase pop cheaper and then take food off queue to queue something else?

The game engine doesn't allow multiple options for draft conversion. I originally wanted there to be 3 conversion options for production and 3 conversion options for draft until I ran into that problem

If there's a way around the problem I found, I'd love to know about it
