To be precise, you need a paid way to access at least one of the major factions of a specific race, so you can use the mod to unlock the minor factions of that race.
If you want to play a beastmen minor faction - you need to have bought access to them (via the Taurox DLC, or the original BM DLC). Etc for all the other races.

because when you name something "unlocker" it implies it unlocks paid dlcs.

i love how this mod is titled that way when its obvious, how come others think this mod will actually let you play paid factions? lmao though, there were some few bugs whenever a new faction is live (like in the previous chorf release, ghort the cruel was playable but i cannot build nor recruit because its a dlc, but was fixed after a week)

@Hauclir Thank you so much for that! Spent literal days trying to figure this out. Ended up just deleting everything in the folder and re-downloading, but that fixed this issue and several other minor glitches I was having. You the GOAT!

@Boodjer hey comrade I was having the same issue until I deleted and redownloaded the main mods I was using like mixer, the mod manager, and vco. sometimes they don't update automatically. good luck

There seems to be some kind of clash between this and VCO. They didn't use to clash, but these are both must have mods, has anyone found a fix for this?

Just got settled in to do a little more testing.
Fog of war button is present and works:steamthumbsup:
Templehof is not at war with Isabel/Vlad at game start anymore:steamthumbsup:
The only thing odd that I see is the Templehof army sitting on top of a Waldendorf army at the border with Isabel/Vlad.

it fixed the corruption problem in Sylvania, it returned Vlad were he is supposed to be.

There is a Templehof army that is in exactlly the same location as a Waldendorf army at game start. They are literally superimposed onto each other.
Also, is it your delibrate intent to have Templehof and Waldendorf doth start the game at war with Isabel/Vlad? Just asking because that is different. Previously Templehof was neutral and Walsdendorf was hostile at game start to Isabel/Vlad.

Well... since the update: when playing Isabel of the vampire counts Vlad is completely missing at game start and the corruption levels of the vampire counts territories are all 0.
Clicking around the adjacent territories ALL corruption in all surrounding territories is 0.
also, the ownership of the adjacent VC territories has changed to 100% templehoff.
Sadly... not playable now.

@Shingsora: You are right the fog of war button has vanished.

Hosting or joining a multiplayer game and clicking "select race" leads to a crash. Only mod enabled is Mixer and MCT.

If the rest of you can join, your friend needs to:
Close out of the game and ALL mod managers
Go to this mod's page and unsubscribe.
Give it a minute.
Resubscribe to this mod.
Then try again to join.

If that doesn't work, your friend can try the following:
Close out of the game and ALL mod managers
Verify game files.
Try again.

Latest update broke multiplayer for a friend, been hosting with 3 and one of them cant join a lobby unless this mod is now disabled. Incompatible versions.

I'm getting random CTDs either loading a campaign, starting a new one, saving before a battle, or loading into a battle. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the mod which hasn't fixed anything. This is the only mod that has updated since I last played.

The most recent update broke multiplayer. host a multiplayer game and when you click on change race it crashes the game.

Someone should make a mod which only applies to the unlocked factions and add a few thematic traits/bonuses to each. As it is now the existing mods also alter the playable factions, I don´t really like that. It should just make it a bit more fun to play each unlocked faction. I tried to ask ChatGPT and it knows how, but the explanation was .... beyond my comprehension.

@Elia: MCT is unstable in multiplayer. I'd start by turning that off. Your mod manager will complain but it will run.

BUT, when we turned off MCT, that wasn't enough. We each had to enable MCT, reset everything to default (even if it looked like it already was), and THEN disable MCT.

New bug: on immortal Empires multiplayers all the players with this mod get 460+ (all single lords) factions after the first turn, and the game crashes for everyone after passing turn at faction 170ish. had to turn off the mod to play the game.

Yeah this mod tweaks a lot of random stuff for whatever reason, I use the warhammer 3 campaign editor mod to change whatever they did i dont like so i suggest that

this mod adds a generic ogre faction with no settlement and one camp in the capital province of drazhoath the ashen(the sentinel), they dont do anything besides raid the province, idk why they are there, enough problems exist in the early game for this faction

Pantaloness the minor faction potential stuff is in the MCT menu for mixu unlocker now.

I'm also having terrible desync issues in multiplayer as of last week but don't use MCT just Mixu and some landmark mods and such. I have used MCT in the past but don't have it active for any current campaigns. Is the desync issue with Mixus then or is MCT still operating in the background on some level?
