Sucks

Ah I figured it might be... What a shame, so many great steamships completely buggered in one go. I can't blame you for holding off.
RandomThingsPosted  [autor] 15 dec. 2023 la 22:50
Filling the water? yeah, updates screwed that, among other things. Thanks, was actually planning on creating a Freshspring two, got pretty good progress but with the state of the game it's not a great idea.
Rob Muldoon Gaming 15 dec. 2023 la 22:47
Hi mate, brilliant ship. The only problem I can find is that I can't fill up the boiler following your tutorial to a point. I am guessing this is an issue caused by the update? Cheers.

How many times the piston strokes. Up or down
Titanic Stuff, And More! 3 iun. 2023 la 6:08
ahhh, so its basically how many times the engine has rotated or how many metres?
RandomThingsPosted  [autor] 2 iun. 2023 la 17:26
similar to an odometer on a car
Titanic Stuff, And More! 2 iun. 2023 la 9:34
what is a stroke counter?
Austrian 17 mai 2023 la 12:20
Amazing.
Skelly Gaming 5 mai 2023 la 11:22
How do you sin the freshspring?
RandomThingsPosted  [autor] 8 febr. 2023 la 16:53
Was it not? It was in service in Malta for the Navy for about a decade I forget exactly when. Then went over to the PAS in 1977 then civilian hands.
Wilwin01 8 febr. 2023 la 11:40
quick note

RFA Freshspring never existed, its sister ships were in the RFA but freshpring (in Bideford, Devon) was the only one of its class not in the RFA
RandomThingsPosted  [autor] 10 nov. 2022 la 12:16
the one under the ladder? that's the stroke counter. It doesn't work well or at all I don't think I checked that.
Titanic Stuff, And More! 10 nov. 2022 la 11:00
what is the gauge on the engine used for its just labeled and goes up and reaches 423 its behind the engine
HistoryOnPaper 18 sept. 2022 la 10:01
can i use the lift rafts i will give you credit
iplaygames5 16 sept. 2022 la 22:44
oohhhh ok
RandomThingsPosted  [autor] 16 sept. 2022 la 22:00
Pressure is on a PID, relief valves open at 20 bar which in game is like 8 Pressure. Only way to blow the boiler is a crownsheet failure or damage.
iplaygames5 16 sept. 2022 la 18:23
just stopped at 18 bar went down now
iplaygames5 16 sept. 2022 la 18:19
just checked the vid you made 20 bar right?
iplaygames5 16 sept. 2022 la 17:59
o
RandomThingsPosted  [autor] 15 sept. 2022 la 23:22
Why would you want to, that hurts. Too steamy.
iplaygames5 15 sept. 2022 la 22:21
is there a way to blow up the boiler
Ole' Exploder 28 aug. 2022 la 18:11
Oh. I was curious because I think a year ago there was a version of this that was modded.
RandomThingsPosted  [autor] 28 aug. 2022 la 16:27
Uhhhh no? not yet anyway hehe
Ole' Exploder 28 aug. 2022 la 7:51
This is a very cool boat but wasn't there a modded version of this?
RandomThingsPosted  [autor] 27 aug. 2022 la 14:44
It's working on my end
RandomThingsPosted  [autor] 27 aug. 2022 la 14:33
Engine room and bridge breakers on?
MACHINEGIRL 27 aug. 2022 la 14:31
Lights does not seem to work...
Auta5tic 18 iul. 2022 la 13:34
i was just asking
rotanev 18 iul. 2022 la 12:50
leave the man be he just spent 3+ years making the most realistic ship on the workshop
RandomThingsPosted  [autor] 18 iul. 2022 la 12:25
no
Auta5tic 17 iul. 2022 la 17:11
are you going to add steam whistles?
rotanev 12 iun. 2022 la 9:23
PS: Can you label some stuff? E.g: dials in the boiler room, one goes up to 17.5-ish, and im not sure if its the pressure.
rotanev 12 iun. 2022 la 4:02
Floor? Could you send me an image marking it?
RandomThingsPosted  [autor] 12 iun. 2022 la 3:57
Starboard side, next to the condenser (big circular/heart shaped object next to the engine) It's on the floor.
rotanev 12 iun. 2022 la 2:43
where is the circulating pump?
RandomThingsPosted  [autor] 8 iun. 2022 la 16:17
Yes that is intentional, can't fit coal ducts to the fireboxes without doing that.
Auta5tic 8 iun. 2022 la 15:48
the 2 boilers on the port and starboard sides of the ship are upside down
Sir_Lunchalot 8 iun. 2022 la 15:33
No problem, I’m glad to help!
RandomThingsPosted  [autor] 8 iun. 2022 la 12:34
oh yeah I meant to change that. Thank you, I will fix that later today
Sir_Lunchalot 8 iun. 2022 la 4:00
I have noticed one other thing in my use (and great enjoyment) of this ship. The propeller seems to turn the opposite way to the engine, which, unless the prop shaft was geared, is impossible. Is this just a concession, or is it a bug?
RandomThingsPosted  [autor] 8 iun. 2022 la 0:23
Not possible with the coal ducts and firebox placement. You can turn on inf fuel but be careful because it might explode.
matpol98 6 iun. 2022 la 14:10
Awesome ship mate, love the details you've put in! Only complaint from my side is the fact I dont have friends, so an automatic boiler feed would be a little handy, still use it for fun sometimes tho!
Davethebasic 4 iun. 2022 la 16:42
the ship has way to many steps to get it moving and it would be easier to move if there was a real helm and the fact its like a maze in the engine room just makes it harder to under stand what you supposed to do
Sir_Lunchalot 1 iun. 2022 la 15:39
On the starboard side of the engine next to the valves for the general service pump there will be the controls for the circulating pump.
Scoot 1 iun. 2022 la 12:32
The instructions were a bit vague, I cant find the circulating pump.
Booze_Rooster 29 mai 2022 la 9:10
Yep. Thought the first time I messed with a valve or something. Spawned again. Took about two minutes and the deck was awash. I’ll get you a photo next time I’m on
