Disfruta tibios.

Maybe around 900 hours playing with Dynamic Traits; I think it’s an outstanding job. For me, being able to create a character without traits and shape them according to each person’s play habits is the best part. The added difficulties are also fantastic and make a lot of sense. For new players with little vanilla experience, it wasn't an issue at all.:steamthumbsup:

shellyboey 8 Nov @ 2:29pm
39, 39 runs before i realised this mod which ive used for years was causing my cdda runs to kill me with a fever, the anger this mod has caused me. thanks giott for saying something because it doesnt say anywhere in the description that a fever will kill you in a day.
Alex Tomiskovici 4 Nov @ 12:11pm
yep, gettin sick is fucked, even with antibodies mod, we cannot fight the infection
Fallen Angel 4 Nov @ 10:22am
Could you answer this if possible.

But this mod makes that when you the a Fever, you almost die in the same day, beeing almost instantly a death?

I have a little bit of mods that im playing, and recently (yesterday), i got just 2 lacerations and in question of 1-2h, i got a fever, and died less than 30 minutes after the fever (the lacerations where treted and putted bandages on them, even took pills, and even with all that, i died for fever in less than a day, i never saw a fever that sever that kills you in less than a day)
Giott 2 Nov @ 9:25am
this mod makes cdda impossible as you get fever in the first few hours and you cant knock it down
Synaries 27 Oct @ 1:28pm

Can the mod be removed from existing games?
Helper Scum 4 Oct @ 3:39pm
Does anyone know how to get rid of Noodle Legs? I thought you could get rid of it with 30lv between agility traits, strength, and fitness. But I hit the 30lv's and I still have it.
Trips over nothing on the ground while running, gets scratched, bandage it, gets quessy dies after five hours.

I just spawned.
MrSakBolls 29 Sep @ 6:43pm
It seems like this mod is incompatible with the bandits mod, i don't know why
PepperCat  [author] 26 Sep @ 6:38am
Other traits mods you have?
The sources for foodSickness (the green Moodle) in vanilla and DT are:

- Eating food in a bad state (vanilla, untouched by DT)
- Eating poisonous mushrooms or berries (vanilla, untouched by DT)
- Drinking tainted water (vanilla, untouched by DT)
- Stay around many corpses (vanilla, untouched by DT)
- Having infected wounds (DT, the newer and severe the wound, the more it increases)
- Overdose Moodle Lv4 (DT, it is mandatory that it is Moodle Lv4, below that it doesn't poison)
- Anorexia when full, so the green eating moodle is present, can generate sickness (DT)
- Alcoholic under the specific conditions (DT)

As far as I remember right now, there's no other source.
alexeybutov1 26 Sep @ 12:42am
again I died of nausea, I have a weak stomach, the only thing I did was eat, and after a fever I died, what could be the reason? i hame spash cooking mod but it was vanilla food
PepperCat  [author] 25 Sep @ 11:59am
You're 100% having mod incompatibilities because DT alone doesn't kill you with a bottle of bourbon. Also DT with the entire modlist in the description works all good as well.
The problem is when people starts to mix hundreds of mods without understanding their interactions
alexeybutov1 25 Sep @ 11:15am
install mod by suggestion)) die after bottle of boubon) WHY)???
Cloudsss 23 Sep @ 4:31pm
also, if there was any way to disable the overdose mechanic itd be nice. Having to take 1 antidepressant and 1 beta blocker and then immediately starting to overdose is another mechanic I do not like and would like the option to disable in the settings.
Cloudsss 23 Sep @ 4:29pm
I keep randomly getting fevers, and when I do it always basically instantly kills me. This is extremely annoying. Its also never really brought up anywhere in the mods descripion. if there was a way to disable this honestly stupid mechanic it would make this mod absolutely perfect in my eyes.
PepperCat  [author] 21 Sep @ 10:03am
@Skye: thanks for understading the whole focus of the mod, one out of thousands. Yes, the mod doesn't have the balance that many expect, it is not a mod for everyone, it has a very specific audience which are people who shares the same or similar playstyles that I have (almost 4k hours requires other things). There are plenty traits mods out there to choose from, this one is just not for everyone.
Ciggy 21 Sep @ 8:58am
MusicManiac 21 Sep @ 7:24am
Literally just check "Other Traits mods Compatibilities" list, there are 2 alternative mods linked
Skye 21 Sep @ 6:18am
Interesting concept, awful execution and balance.

Would recommend only to those that enjoy those kinds of difficulty settings (the ones that arent designed to provide a challenge, but rather for ragebait), would NOT recommend in any server that has an RP focus or lowered numbers of zombies. It will just make your character worse the longer you play, and once you have bloodlust, your game is over, even the description itself says so but i know most people skip to the comments instead so its better to mention it.

Again, good for: Singleplayer runs where you wish to push the game to its limits, at detriment of playability.

Bad for: Multiplayer in general, or just runs where you wish actual fine tweaked difficulty.

Completely broken for: RP-focused servers or any server that doesnt have a high zombie count, as it will kneecap your character on the long run without any way to avoid it.
YYman 20 Sep @ 7:01am
is there a version without the rebalance?
i came here for dynamic traits not for the rebalance of traits made to another guy's liking
i dont want the rebalance (at the very least i want the option to turn it off)
the whole mod is not worth it if the re balance is included, at least for me
Sideroht 12 Sep @ 7:49pm
I have 3 errors with a bomb mod that didn't occur before along with this mod, the dynamic is the only one that marks me in red when throwing the bombs (normal, fire and smoke)

I already put the errors in the discussion list :c
Data 8 Sep @ 12:19am
bloodlust is a pain. we must a another choice for remove it. Survive time must be remove bloodlust. or prevent it.
BanzaiRoundEye 4 Sep @ 3:17am

Wyte Knight 29 Aug @ 5:29pm
Hello! Is there any way to remove Nervous Wreck from a character on a MP server?

The whole reason we use the mod is to be able to vary playstyles and experience having good and bad traits showing up depending on our actions, and the whole concept of Nervous Wreck and Melancholic being permanent are kinda against the concept of Dynamic Traits as a whole... Specially when it's so easily obtenable without being that stressed or depressed.

Would love a sandbox option to tweak it.
PepperCat  [author] 27 Aug @ 12:30pm
About veteran and smoker trait you are completely mixing things. Nervous Wreck DOES NOT interact with vanilla stress traits such as Smoker or Hemophobic due to that code being in Java. That's vanilla, not DT. Also, veteran has Desensitized which affects panic, not stress, also vanilla
PepperCat  [author] 27 Aug @ 12:27pm
Once we have NPC's in the game and therapy is a thing, I will consider Nervous Wreck and Melancholic to be permanently removed, until that moment, that won't change.
That being said, you can keep both traits controlled by taking an antidepressant or betablocker every 48 hours, impossible you get overdose with that. If the pill you take doesn't remove it, that's because you didn't take the pill as soon as you got it. An easy way to remove it is to take pills more frequently (24 hours for example) until it gets removed (and then start applying the 48 hours routine), if you want to do it faster then just take a couple pills together and that's it.
PrometheanExile 27 Aug @ 11:30am
There really needs to be a way to remove Nervous Wreck. Not only does it overtake all gameplay once you get it but you WILL get it if you ever get stressed so all smokers and anyone unlucky enough to be stressed will get it. And it doesn't even get suppressed by beta blockers unless you take enough to overdose so idk if there is a misconfiguration or what but the wiki page's description just doesn't seem accurate.

It just does not make sense that a desensitized veteran would become a nervous wreck after having to wait an hour before having a cigarette because they are busy fighting.
kptkickass 27 Aug @ 1:56am
so, i spend 100+ hours in the woods building a base from scratch far away from any city and after 8 months in game i develop bloodlust, come to learn, it isnt removeable no matter how many weeks you spend not killing anything, despite how many months it take to get to the kill limit to develop the trait, this has to be an oversight, it has made this playthrough completely unplayable.
Дилюк 23 Aug @ 6:54am
scratched my hand while breaking the window. several hours later got fever and died
10/10 reality
Zerua 13 Aug @ 11:13pm
Does this mod add the Trait Points* skill? If so, what does it do?
PepperCat  [author] 5 Aug @ 3:11pm
For everyone: I added a new thread that explains overdose mechanic.
PepperCat  [author] 5 Aug @ 2:52pm
@joyce: Not sure about uninstalling Evolving Trait, but installing this one is safe, the only thing you must consider is, this mod will start to "act" the moment you install it, so it may detect there are things that needs to be changed according to the mods logic and removes and applies traits. It may not, but it is a possibility.
@brain: there isn't.
