Art pass 3. The tunnel materials have been changed. More landscaping and environmental effects. Some Z fighting issues corrected.

Added new terrain textures, some landscaping, and a few interior artwork items

- Fixed objectives
- Added breakable windows to control room to main pump room
- Added bullet-proof windows to control room exterior windows to prevent spawn point spam firing
- Changed rotation on a few doors to open the correct direction

now that the doors work, objectives didn't work the way it should. defense CAN take the objectives and attack CANNOT.

New build uploaded with simple doors that I believe should be a lot more consistent.
If someone comes up with reliable doors that open partially, I'll update them again.

Well I like them, the issue is map is unplayable until they are fixed :-/, but they are def an important part of the gameplay for that map. I have seen a few maps with working doors and no issues so not sure what these are getting caught up on.

I've uploaded a new update today. Please let me know which doors are the biggest problem(s). I can increase the trigger radius. I've done it with the door from the washroom to main pump room already. I could remove some doors as a last option, but prefer trying to fix them first. Thanks again for your support !

I want to report you a little bug with the doors, we can't open most doors.
There is another bug with the main entrance down the Z object, I can see between the walls near the main door.

I've changed the mesh on the windows up there to block all. Check the new update and let me know if it still is a problem. I know there is a door missing in secondary pump to the tunnels. It was broken so I removed it rather than impeding play. It will back in again later.

McReady, can you do something about the spawnkilling? Defense is able to kill Assault from the windows. Quite annoying. Don't know if the windows can be barricaded or something?

I'm going to update the build shortly. Huge thanks to Deltathund3r for helping me out with doors !!! As I mentioned previously i freely admin that I am a noob to map making / mision editor. I did this from memory only and used to play Pipeline A LOT. Since some people are taking issue with me using the name for what's not a 100% repro, I may rename it in a couple of days. For anyone that does have the skills, there is an empty shell of the original scale model also posted. I'd play that one too if someone wants to complete it.

I also wondered if there is any way to activate the "broken" objective. the one at "exterior valve" location. Or did u leave it there as old nostalgia

in the old days as most defence liked to hold the main computer "defence spawn" u could skip that objective entierly if u secured the 3 valves Primary, secondary and exterior. or if u were running short on time, skip the valves and go for the main computer wich bypassed the valves and gave the assault the win.

well done. i can see the amount of work put into this map. Like some ppl say its an insult to pipeline, id say the contrary. Its an honor for us pipeline fans to be able to play this map again eventhough its not an exact copy.
Now I compare it to the original pipeline from AAO not the crappy aa2 or 3...

Here are some constructive thoughs that i wanted to share so if possible some changes can be made by u or someone else. Because this map i think can be taken to the next level

*The 1st thing i noticed was that the size of some rooms are abit too big compared to the original
*the distance you have to run to get to places takes too long
*Defence start with being able to shoot at the assault spawn from the start of the round and score kills

If u would like more tips on how to be true to the original map u can "put me on friend on steam" and i can show u screen shots of the map and some tips on what to change

Also in the room where you want to get up the ladder, the windows are too high, so you can't look down. Windows need to be placed slightly lower in other areas as well.

aww come on guys, He was indeed the first one to make Good O'l PipeLine, and yes it was a rush job. But thats no reason to shut him down like that. If you have some problem with his map or "think you could do better" By all means do it up, make it better, and maby next time you should give "CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM". its when you politely give input to help better something. . . . . . . . . i personaly liked it and im going to help out some.

Now i dont get online often enough cause my internet is a android hotspot right now, but ill post whatever i do when i can!

BEST AA4 PIPELINE I HAVE SEEN YET! KEEP IT UP!!! :D

It's only the 4th map I've ever done (and on any game), so it gives you an idea of what you can learn pretty quickly. If you're interested, give the ME a shot. I'm going to try to add doors in the next couple of days. Thanks for your comments. ...Most of them :P

:D Needs some serious work. It's a good start. Most of the spaces need to be resized (specially main pump room + cp areas) and It would be cool if you used Harbor Assault's and Redline assets. Good start.
