It would be great if you made a no-parking version of the center left turn lane road plus a 7 lane version (3 lanes each side) awesome pack otherwise

If you use the middle lane (both sides turn) and attach any other intersection road to it it makes a diagonal line going to the OPPOSITE way it was supposed to go

Hi hockenheim95, you made the best textured, designed, and coded road networks on the game. There are only few good roads with bike lanes/ protected bike lanes out there. Perhaps you wanna be in the lead also by incorporating bike lanes (preferrably protected bike lanes) into your existing road networks? Thanksssss.

Hello, it could make a big avenue with one direction and several lanes. with larger sidewalks and the option of placing trees.

Same here GrumpyZade...I use it as a connector lane because there isn't a 4 lane medium with median option. Would be nice if there was one. :D

@Narobic @black_panther559 Connecting the other lanes with the lane connectors and not the middle also helps(I think it still needs to be strict). I use this road as a 4 lane with a median cause he doesn't have one that blends well with other roads

So far, the only way I've seen is through TMPE, turning on Advanced AI option, and making sure that the rule is set to STRICT. They will recognize the center lane ONLY being for a turn lane.

At least, that's what I've experienced. I could be wrong though, which hasn't been the first time, and most certainly wouldn't be the last. LOL :steamhappy:

@hockenheim95 -- Would you consider making a non-asymmetrical version of the 5 Lane Center Turning Lane Road, but without the turning lane, but instead with a painted median? The only 4-lane road in your collection is the 4 Lane Basic Road in the BIG Urban Roads - Small Basic Roads Pack (US American) collection and it's part of the small roads, which is too small for my needs.

Basically, I'm looking for a 4 Lane Medium Road with Yellow Painted Median. I guess that was the easier way of say it.

I hope all this made sense. :lolz:

I love these so much!! They're perfect, except I keep having this one issue and I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or what, but going from the center turning lane to one of the asymmetrical roads draws the line to the wrong spot. Here's a photo of what I mean: https://imgur.com/R4P3afG

these are awesome if you want to micromanage your roads. It's missing the automation that this game so greatly uses in everything else... It would be great to auto detect whether the road turns left or not when placing just one road type. Meaning it's a median where there is no turn, there's a left turn where there is one

Great work! I've been slowly updating my whole city to have your roads and it looks so real! My only request is that can we possibly get streetlights on both sides of the road? It only seems to be enabled only one side. And I also agree with @robeet with getting a 5L road but with a solid painted median in which traffic can cross, but cant travel down the lane.

Just wanted to personally thank you. I have needed a road set like these for years. Roads with turn lanes like this are so common in real life, and yet so scare on the workshop. Thanks again. keep it up.

Please note that I am not able to make anything compatible with TM:PE. I can only make things compatible with the unmodded game. The game supports switching between stop signs and traffic lights. This function works for my roads.

Ok, i'll have to go back and try again. I used TM:PE to indicate stop signs but the actual signs didn't appear so maybe I did something wrong.

Stop signs appear when you switch to stop signs ingame! CS is designed for European roads. We have Traffic Lights, ROW/yield intersections and ROW/Stop intersections. So you must enable a stop-junction and the the signs appear.

Not every junction has crosswalks. Therefore for small roads it is only created when Traffic Lights appear. If you want crosswalks Switch on TL or Draw them with IMT

@hockenheim95 - Thank you very much for being willing to go back and tweak your content. Very appreciative of you for doing that.

Would like to point something out to you that hopefully you would consider tweaking. I notice on your smaller two lane roads, when an intersection is created, there is no stop sign that appears. Usually on side streets/ suburban roads there are stop signs at intersections. Is it possible to add stop signs to your roads at intersections? And then have them work with TM:PE when specifically setting lanes to be "stop'?

Also, I notice no crosswalks get created, but that may be design.

@luckecage_2099 - After messing with this for quite some time I think I finally got the vehicles to behave properly. You have to use TM:PE at every intersection by using "lane connector". Make sure that the center turn lane is the only lane that turns left in each direction on 4 lane roads, then make lane 1 only go straight, then make lane 2 only goes straight and right turn. I did this at every single intersection and the cars finally started behaving correctly.

Additionally, at some road nodes in the middle of road spans between intersections I had to use the lane connector tool to force cars to continue going straight in their lane so they wouldn't enter the center lane at one node then exit at the next. This happened at random spots.

@hockenheim95 - if there is any way you can tweak and optimize the behavior of your roads or cars on them so they don't randomly use the center turn lane? Also, do you have any simple 6 lane roads like these planned?

First, let me commend you on another great addition to the C:S platform! I love your parking lots and urban/suburban roads, and it’s great to have a 5-lane road again with realistic North American pavement striping! I’m retrofitting this all over my current city and it looks great. That said, the only issue I’ve encountered is that at a T-intersection it’s impossible, even using TM:PE, to prevent vehicles from using the center left lane as a turn lane – which they instead use to make a right turn in front of the other lanes! It's not a deal breaker for me, but as a solution perhaps you might consider adding a 5 lane with the center lane striped out with diagonal cross stripes where cars are prohibited from using it as a travel or turn lane (like a raised median).

@e46724 yes, center turning lane roads have traffic in both directions on the middle lane. So If you want to use this you have to carefully manage your traffic yourself. The middle lane has a lower speed so that cars don't use it permanent. I suggest to always put a middle node between junctions where the cars can switch lanes. I will provide better descriptions as soon as my assets are updated

Beautiful work, but my cars travel straight on the middle turning lanes. I don't know how to stop them from doing that.

@gio.sebis thanks. Tomorrow comes an update to the existing roads fixing some minor things. New roads will be coming tomorrow or friday. It will be a pack of one way roads

These are exceptional quality, as are your other roads, too; and the suburbs you've done fill a much-needed hole in the workshop assets. Thank you for those, too! Any chance we can get the larger roads with bike lane versions instead of parking? Green cities, you know. :-) Thanks for considering it, even if not possible.

These roads don't have parking functionality (Which I like) But it seems the strip of asphalt is still there to allow parking.

So i wish they didn't have that strip and were narrower .
