There is no use for the dead, only limbs for canned food and skin. And what about mercy to one's neighbor?)

People, if you don't want slavers to accidentally kill captured slaves by looting their death item, you could use the Layken's Slave-murder fix mod. It does that by only allowing slavers to confiscate weapons and no other items.

But why not add the death items to slaves? Is it because when slavers take their items they also take the "skull" and kill the slave?

Ah okay if I sell someone into slavery he/she still gets looted and killed.

Sold some red sabres.

Help pls! I am using your kenshi patch execute mod, and It seems that all the rebel farmers and swordsman I bring in, get executed, can I mace this not happen?[/quote]

Could you explain in a bit more detail. When you say they get executed after you "bring" them in, do you mean when you turn them in for a bounty or something?

I'm not sure that my mod removes the death item from "rebel farmers" or whatever swordsmen you are referring to. Literally, all my mod does is remove the death item from the list of characters in the description above. And that only works if you load my mod after "Kill Item" (aka, Execute Enemy). If something doesn't work right, it may be the fault of Execute Enemy or the fact that the game got an update.

Also I imported game and load order is correct.

Been using this for a day or so and its great, thanks for making this :) The only issue is that for some reason Triangle Bandits never have the kill item. All other bandits ive seen so far have them.

you probably did not understand that I offered to replace the item in the inventory with a line in the context menu that should interrupt the life of the NPC and not allow it to attack after losing consciousness... Just an imaginary blow that ends the life of an unconscious NPC.. Straight to the bottom line after applying a tire or lift!!! :) perhaps this is because English is not my native language...:cozyspaceengineersb:

It's a pity you can't make such a mod....
Pa1adin 24 Jun, 2020 @ 2:37pm
We can't even tie their hands while they're unconscious...What would the developers of Kenshi say to this?!
Pa1adin 24 Jun, 2020 @ 2:32pm
Remember how in the movie 300 after the battle, the Spartans finish off the enemy's wounded and survivors...They do not have the ability to mess with prisoners, but you can not leave a living enemy... What to do so their world is arranged...the world of Kenshi is no exception, it is also unfair...and the developers are unfair to the player...We do not have the ability to do the same as the NPC...

@Thundercraft I don't agree with some of the arguments. Enemies have the ability to finish off our characters, such as animals and cannibals... Yes and in is that our characters the NPCs not finish off, there is its sense. In Kenshi, there is severe slavery and a shortage of workers...It's stupid to kill a hen that lays Golden eggs!!! A defeated enemy can be sold into slavery or forced to work! But the player is deprived of this opportunity! For the player, a rising enemy is an unnecessary danger. Not one sane person will leave a defeated enemy alive so that he can stab them in the back, especially since the player cannot enslave or bind the NPC and thus protect himself! And cleaning up hostile territories turns into a wild circus...
Thundercraft  [author] 24 Jun, 2020 @ 1:19pm
@DarKGeek I agree with you, believe me! However, I'm not too familiar with modding Kenshi and I have no idea about scripting for this game.

Kenshi devs have repeatedly stated that this game was made this way on purpose - where it is normally impossible to kill an unconscious enemy. They gave their reasons, such as it being impossible for your enemies to kill your characters while they're unconscious and, thus, they think it's only fair that the reverse should also be this way.

I don't agree with the devs, obviously. All I'm saying is that this was made difficult to do and there will never be official support for doing this.

So that when you press "finish him" your enemy will still have a hitbox and be able to be hit.
Wrath 24 Jun, 2020 @ 12:32pm
I hope a really professional scripter or something makes a mod where you actually have the ability to hit an unconcious person, like how the cannibals beat you up to death in your cell before eating you, I may not be a scripter but this doesn't sound like a very hard thing to do, just add the script of when you attack someone and then a "finish him" button like @Pa1adin said. And yes I do understand that is unfair but, that's how real life works, imagine you just knock someone out then walk away because there is no way to hit him again, weird right? and you can't just rip someones skull off with your bare hands, so why not use weapons?
Pa1adin 14 Jun, 2020 @ 11:32am
You can just make the mod so that in the context menu, where you can choose "give first aid" or "apply a splint", just an item appears: "finish him"?! This would be much better than objects and other inventions....

Thanks so much. Having slavers just straight up killing everyone was super annoying
