For some reason all my roads and tracks use this bridge even on flat terrain, it warps the ground underneath. Whats even weirder is that i'm currently in 1933. For now I will be unsubbing, but the bridge is very nice, I hope I can fix this issue

One of the best mods for TF2

@luftfisch Come across by accident, it's possible but not 100% sure, someone need write his own code to validate it. In Tpf2 bridge can be much more customized than tpf1 but still missing a lot of information..

Any dry climate map has deep canyons where a normal bridge would cost 100M. In reality nobody would traverse a canyon with a flat bridge on 100m tall pillars, because a suspension structure is much more effective build in steel (and it looks better).

I don't know how bridges work in TF2, but a suspension bridge must have 2 symmetric pillar positions at about 20% and 80% of it's total length and stretched elements in between. When I look how the game varies pillar positions randomly, I fear that it could be difficult...

Another approach to suspension bridges could be a set of predefined elements that can be placed over the middle of the canyon and then normal tracks or bridge parts attached at both sides. There was a viaduct mod in TF1, that looked nice but killed the performance of every game...

Haha, funny. Just wanted to ask the same question.
U play the Gran Canyon map. I big bridge might be handy there.

Where is the Lua File located in the explorer?
I would like to make the availability a bit earlier.

Is it possible to make a suspension bridge in Tpf2 to cross canyons with a wide span?

This looks like a good opportunity to create a double-stacked railway bridge.
