@ShadowX116 Your issue with the shuttle crashing into the water isn't the mod. That happens when anything crashes into the water as far as I can tell. I saw a streamer earlier today on an all-water map not be able to get a royal title because the bestower shuttle crashed. I've had a quest mech cluster land on a sandbar on an archipelago map and half of the pieces, including the primary threat piece, were missing.

The tooltips and one part of the mod description says that the purple events can last "several years", but elsewhere in the mod description says 120 days. "Several" implies more than 2 years. Which is it? I'm 50 days into a psychic rain wondering if I should abandon the entire save because it could last 4 damned years.

I don't know when you changed it but I just noticed meteors from these events no longer replace the flooring they land on (which previously would result in a totally stone-floored map over time)!

Hi, just got the psychic rain one. Can I dress my colonists with something that protects them from it? Like a Space Suit or a Hazmat Suit?

I dunno if bug or working as intended, but I had a shuttle crash into water and it completely vanished the second it hit the ground. I saw the puff of smoke from the impact and that was it.

I reported a bug yesterday because I got a crashed shuttle that produced infinite pawns.

@Nananabatman That sounds abhorrently unlucky. There's always Cherry Picker tho. I tend to turn off certain events for a while if it over-uses them obnoxiously often.

Long night for a year and a half, toxic fallout for another year then phisic rain for a half a year so far, basically forces you to play each run the same way like it's dwarf fortess, not fun.

I'm also getting the issue of the Shuttle Crash landing in water and vanishing.
I live on the new Island feature, and all 4 that have rolled have landed in shallow water and gone poof. lol

I followed a guide to revert from an old save file the following sections of my save: <tileBiomeDeflate> and <tileTemperatureDeflate>.. Seems to have worked, and I will probably disable Ice Age from now on to prevent the bug from happening again.

I had Ice Age and then Global Warming right after, but it stayed cold.. And now both events have gone away, and my tile still says "growing: never" even though it used to be 20/60.... Any idea how to fix it?

Decided to chuck Save Our Ship 2 on for the first time in a long time, had to disable this mod as apparently not compatible, I've been playing with it so long I thought I'd check the mod page to see what it actually does, damn I've been so absolutely sure all of these events were vanilla I didn't realise they weren't in the base game :')

Thanks to the VE mod team, you guys do great work.

Love the mod. Found a small issue: when hunters come onto the map they often have emp launchers, which as you might imagine, aren't good for hunting and are super annoying.

Turned off toxic fallout since it stacked with psychic rain but it's still active. It just turns it off for the future, doesn't it.

I just got psychic rain in space. I'm guessing that is to be considered a (minor) bug? I'm sure it is just because Odessey introduced new functionality, and this scenario haven't been fixed yet.

Anyone know if the psychic rain event affects pawns in space? Makes sense to me if it doesn't, but I don't know how the event is coded.

So global warming actually hardcodes into your save file a 50F increase in temperatures making it so that any colonist outside of a freezer will get heatstroke immediately........... There is literally nothing positive this mod adds that offsets how horrible this event is and that there isn't a red flag about how it will destroy a save you've poured hours into is beyond frustrating especially with no way to turn it off without editing your save file with a huge chance of corrupting it. You can't fix it in dev mode and you can't turn it off in the settings for this and you can't even disable it in cherry picker after it's happened. Once it's happened it's pretty much permanent. This isn't fun or challenging it's just an immediate game over pretty much.

This ever going to get a 2.0 reboot like some of the other Vanilla Expanded series? Feels like it could use it. Some events are outdated and with the massive improvements to the base game etc... its opened the door for tons of new interesting events.

Pretty big issue" I just spent two days trying to troubleshoot why I couldn't expand my growing zones. I had absolutely no idea why I couldn't. I finally figured it out, and it was because of the drought. It drops the fertility so much that the game no longer registers it as a viable growing zone so I can't even alter the zones.

The only reason I say it's a big issue is because if someone else is in my position, they'll probably spend hours trying to figure it out too. I was about to start a new save because I thought my save was glitched.

Mod VanillaExpanded.VEE has multiple RimWorld.IncidentDefs named VEE_IceAge. Skipping.

Any idea why im getting a bunch of errors like this when i load the game up? i get maybe 15-20 and never see these events that are in the error log

Is anyone else having an issue with Drought not actually doing anything? My crops seem unaffected. Not sure if it's a mod conflict but I don't think I have anything that impacts crop growth, and it's just haygrass so It's a vanilla crop

Yes, thank you for making the planet turn up to 120 C. And there's no way to reverse it. Hours of my life wasted.

I do have two suggestions/requests if you have time to add them :)
1. When I hover over an event in the manager, it would be nice to have a description of what the event actually does (so I don't need to come back to this page every time for a reminder)
2. For the "Number of days between purple events" slider, let us set a range so it can be somewhat random, or just let us set up a percentage chance every day that a purple event can happen. Also you may want to indicate which events are purple events in that menu

I play it and I only receive strange visitors. I get no other anomaly events, and I have yet to interact with the monolith.

Hey guys I have this mod installed and noticed it has options for anomaly. In my game i have it set so anomaly events dont start till I interact with the monolith.
Will this mod override this and cause the anom events before I interact with the monolith ?
