Mod technology allows it to be easily cured.
Unfortunately, brain injuries are not eligible for cure.
This is the original mod author's concept, and is to maintain the value of the item that exists in vanilla, the brain implant (persona core).
This allows players to experience a story that laments the importance of head armor (helmet) and bad luck. Please understand, thank you.
v1.5.5
- Add a new surgery "cure acid burn" (+scars).
Thanks to Eversor for reporting this issue.
I don't think CE will affect medical. For more information, you may want to ask on the CE workshop page. Thank you.
EPOE-Forked is not supported. Because EPOE-Forked contains its own treatment system (dll) and does not accept interference from other mods.
Yes, you're right, so I've created patch-only mods for the most popular animal mods.

I confirmed it. Big and Small - Xeno Insectoid Hive does not handle the human treatment that is handled by Big and Small - Framework .
This is a problem with the concept of Big and Small - Xeno Insectoid Hive , so this mod will conform to that concept.
I have determined that human medical technology cannot treat the illnesses and injuries of insectoid humans. Please understand.
(Technically, it is possible to do this by simply creating a patch to add the insectoid Xeno to the HumanlikesDefx.xml that treats them as humans in B&S Core. However, this would ignore the intentions of the mod author.)
I haven't checked that mod. Unlike HAR, it may not be treated as a human. I'll look into it a bit.
EPOE-Forked is not supported.
The reason is simple, because both companies are doing the same thing. Furthermore, EPOE-Forked uses Mod Expanded, which forcibly overwrites other mods.
Therefore, it is inevitable that the functionality of this mod will be lost. EPOE is supported with "EPOE only", but EPOE-Forked is not supported. Thank you.
v1.5.4
- Added icons to the surgery menu.
I would be happy if I could help you have fun playing.
v1.5.3
- Fixed all language translations for 1.5.
- Biotech DLC "lung rot" cure has been moved to a separate DLC folder.
Thanks to @pikatyu-1000000 for reporting this issue.
IMPORTANT :
With this update, mod have made major changes to the folder structure.
I recommend resubscribing to the mod to avoid problems. If you experience problems after updating, please try resubscribing to the mod first. I apologize for the inconvenience.

v1.5.0
- Update tags for Rimworld 1.5.x.
My information is based on comments in "EPOE - Forked" from nearly a year ago - specifically, a comment by Tarojun (one of the authors for "EPOE - Forked") dated Mar 13, 2023 @ 6:24pm. Maybe they've since removed the option?
Are you sure that you've not only subscribed to this mod, "Expanded Prosthetics and Organ Engineering - Forked" and XML Extensions , but you also have all three of these enabled in your mod list? Also, where is XML Extensions in your mod load order? I would hazard a guess that XML Extensions should probably go above (before) any mod (like EPOE - Forked) that uses it.
Also, it'd be better to talk about this in the comments for EPOE - Forked, rather than here, as one of the authors may be able to offer more help.
It's not that these two mods are fundamentally incompatible with each other. Rather, "EPOE - Forked" adds a patch which targets "DE Surgeries" to remove this mod's ability to heal injuries. As explained in the "EPOE - Forked" comments, this was done quote,
"...due to reported overlaps and bloat. Also, DE Surgery only works for base game injuries, so there will be further confusion when modded injury types are added..."
It was also explained that, by using XML Extensions , you'd find a mod (configuration) option for "EPOE - Forked" to disable that patch, effectively making them compatible.
(1/2)
Please check the following: Are you enabling " Expanded Prosthetics and Organ Engineering + EPOE 1.4 (Expanded Prosthetics and Organ Engineering) " or " Expanded Prosthetics and Organ Engineering - Forked "?
It can be used without any problems because there is no problem with EPOE.
EPOE-Forked and DE Surgeries has incompatibility, because of the duplicate functions. This MOD function will not be available.
Next, if you are enabling the "Humanoid Alien Races" and the race MOD.
If these mod in your mod list, you need to put DE Surgeries above than HAR and HAR Race Mod. Because the HAR race is converted to "human" after loading Mod by internal processing, if you read DE Surgeries later in the order of the mod list, you will not be able to recognize the HAR race as a human, and a surgical menu (bill) will appear.
Please note these compatibility issues with mods that are not DE Surgeries.
Please check the following.
- Are appropriate medicines in stock in a location accessible to doctor pawn?
- Does the doctor-pawn have the necessary medical skills to perform the surgery?
- Are the necessary medicines authorized for the patients you want to operate on?
Thank you.
CompThingWithProperties needs "HasComps" but this is hardcoded not to be allowed for certain Defs so certain specific pawn stats can't be modified the same way Manipulation can, meaning I have to write in C just to get a brain implant to increase learning speed
I know you're likely tempted to play semantics or otherwise slither your way into a public victory but frankly this game is coded terribly and if you don't see that after having coded a mod like this then you are just as much a goblin as he is.
In many cases, the development of a game is busy simply by improving the foundation of the game or adding new DLC and functions. I think Rimworld, which can support that impressive point with a mod, is a great game.
@Vaarelsauce
Yes. DE Surgeries was one of the old mod and demand that existed from the α test.
The concept was to save colonists who die from old wounds and serious illnesses that vanilla cannot be treated. However, there is a balance adjustment that does not lose the prepared item, such as the AI Persona Core inplant.
This is a simple and light mod that does not require a premise mod.
