Here is a list of all the workshop scenarios for the route.

Drangus  [автор] 22 груд. 2018 о 0:18
Hi all! I've made a new and improved second edition of this route. I have fixed many of the signalling issues by replacing the faulty 'Riviera Line in the 50s' GWR signals with the more reliable 'Falmouth Branch Route' GWR signals. I have also added several portals. Both of these additions should make scenario creation much easier. You can find the new version of the route here: https://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1594939815
New scenarios for said route coming soon!
sneed's feed & seed 12 серп. 2018 о 2:51
Maybe I'd ought to switch to the Weardale and Teesdale signals.

I'm building a fictional British mainline route in the 1950s-60s, in a as of yet undecided location with branch lines and a narrow gauge railway too. Quite an ambitious project, I think. No clue how long it'll take me or if I'll even finish it!

Hey Albino Pigeon! Thanks for asking. To be perfectly honest, my E-K route signals have been very problematic - so much to the point where I am considering resignalling this entire route with either the Falmouth signals or the wooden or lattice steam era signals. People have been running into so many problems in scenarios with these signals, even though I have set them up correctly.

If I may ask, what route are you building?
sneed's feed & seed 11 серп. 2018 о 14:04
Hey Drangus, I'm building a route of my own and I'm using the signals from the E-K route like you have but I can't seem to get them to work properly. There's a thread about it on the main discussions page I put up but nobody's responded to it as of yet. Can you help at all?

Love the route, by the way. Very well detailed

very nice little route thank you
Drangus  [автор] 22 черв. 2018 о 8:58
Hey rudy1garcia! I hope you were able to get the route! Thanks for playing.
Drangus  [автор] 22 черв. 2018 о 8:57
Hi there Alex! I am actually from the USA as well. I just really like the history of Britain's complex railway systems of the past - specifically the Great Western Railway. There is so much GWR DLC out there that I felt I had to make another route for them, as Falmouth and Riviera are the only ones. I would be happy to make more portals for you, but unfortunately, the route is already published and has been finalized. Steam and Train Sim will not let me make changes any longer. The signalling is very good though. For reason, the route is routing trains through the goods shed at Prescombe instead of down the main branch line, so you will have to route the trains via "Prescombe Down Main." Other than that, I have had to problem making trains meet up on the route, and pay close attention to and am constantly changing my time table while scenario building. Thank you for playing and for the 'thumbs up!'
Drangus  [автор] 22 черв. 2018 о 8:51
Hi Scouser888! Thank you for playing! As I mention in the section about DLC in the description above, the 'UP 119 Loco Add-On' is only for the old roundhouse near Braxton as well as for some other minor assets. I guess you can say that it's optional. Thanks for checking out my route though!
Drangus  [автор] 22 черв. 2018 о 8:46
Thanks for playing, steve_u697! A tank engine local goods scenario is coming soon. I hope you have the 45XX Small Prairie!
Drangus  [автор] 22 черв. 2018 о 8:45
Thanks AllyourKitty! Glad you are enjoying it!
Flarantus 21 черв. 2018 о 13:57
i like to have this
Axehandle 21 черв. 2018 о 10:44
Hey Drangus, and greetings from the USA! A very nice route indeed, and a great place to put my GWR engines and rolling stock to use. I created a small scenario (Braxton to Yatesmouth) passenger with the driver in an Autotrain, but I'm having a hard time to arrange meets between the player and AI trains. Then I noticed that you're still working on signalling. Could you put some portals in between the platforms? You received a "thumbs up" from me! :steamhappy:
Scouser888 21 черв. 2018 о 8:53
Drangus, given that this is a GWR route in South Devon, I am a little surprised that your DLC requirements include Union Pacific No.119 steam loco from the USA. I figured that it was likely used for static or possibly AI traffic purposes, so even though I don't own it, I subscribed anyway and all was fine. Very nice route, by the way.
stevieb697 20 черв. 2018 о 8:34
Cracking little route Drangus, just beautiful, perfect for chuffing along in a small tank and that diversion through the goods shed gets me every time :)
Thank you for your work and for sharing.

AllyourKitty 19 черв. 2018 о 18:48
Lovely little branch line, the level of detail is very impressive.
Drangus  [автор] 19 черв. 2018 о 15:41
Hi everyone! The route has been made final and is ready for scenario publication!
Drangus  [автор] 19 черв. 2018 о 14:28
Hi wisewriters! Thanks for playing! The diversion on the goods shed was not intended, but thank you anyway. That siding is a bit glitched, and won't let me bypass it unless if I tell the train to run over "Prescombe Down Main." Straightening all that out before the release tonight. Scenarios on the way!
wisewriters 19 черв. 2018 о 13:36
Just had a very quick run in Quick Drive with a County. I like this, even the diversion via the goods shed. Thanks Daniel
AirbourneAlex 18 черв. 2018 о 12:38
Great route Drangus. Attention to detail, featureful, high quality and most importantly; it superbly reflects a GWR branch line! I don't yet own WLOS so I'm missing some assets, but its a great route nonetheless.

Take your time finishing the route, there's still some issues that can be sorted before you make it final. For instance, Z-shaped junctions still have the track overlaying on the crossovers, you can solve this by splitting the track in the middle of the Z-junction and welding it back together again. Hope that helps :)
Drangus  [автор] 18 черв. 2018 о 12:24
Hi keith.stroud.52! I have enough likes, but I need to fix some minor signalling problems in yards. This would normally be a quick fix, but I am studying in rural Italy for a month on a scholarship, and my time (and internet connection) have been limited. I will have the route up shortly - probably in the next day or so.
Drangus  [автор] 18 черв. 2018 о 12:22
Hi Albino Pigeon! The telegraph lines come with the "Riviera Line in the 50s" route! Thanks for playing!
keith.stroud.52 18 черв. 2018 о 11:06
Hi Drangus, have just downloaded your route and am waiting for it to load. However as it came with a highly recommended from Not.Silent, I knew that I should get it. Have given you a thumbs up, so that we can get some scenarios for it. Thanks for your efforts.
Regards, Keith.
sneed's feed & seed 18 черв. 2018 о 8:41
Excellent looking route, the attention to detail is incredible! What DLC pack do the telegraph lines come from? What is their name in the loft asset list?
Johnny Mac 17 черв. 2018 о 11:22
Looks great! its ashame it uses so many dlcs tho, cant wait till next couple pay days ;P
Drangus  [автор] 16 черв. 2018 о 23:23
Just a quick update for everyone following this route and its path to finalization: The route, as of now, has 22 of the needed 30 positive ratings. Thanks to all who have driven the route thus far. Once we hit 30, I will do one last inspection and then finalize it so scenarios can be published. IMPORTANT: I will need your help to make this route the best it can be. If you have found any issues with the route, please let me know so I can fix it before making the route final. Thanks!
Drangus  [автор] 16 черв. 2018 о 23:13
Hi chris5012! So glad it showed up and you were able to explore. Thank you for playing and stay tuned for more!
Drangus  [автор] 16 черв. 2018 о 23:12
Hi there jackstar! Make sure you download the route under 'Library' on Steam. Even though it may take some time, that's the only way. Not.Silent is right, as sometimes it take a day or two to show up in the game. The easiest way to access the route (unless you are good with the scenario editor) is through Quick Drive, as the route is Quick Drive compatible!
Drangus  [автор] 16 черв. 2018 о 23:08
Hey gertj3! Thanks for your nice comment! It would be awesome to make a detailed 30 miled route like this one. This one already took four months for only five-and-a-half miles, so a 30 miled route would take me forever! Haha! Even though it would be a major long term project, I will consider it.
Drangus  [автор] 16 черв. 2018 о 23:02
Hi heyjoe! Thank you for your kind words! Means a lot coming from you. I have been practicing route building for about half a year now. After many failed attempts, many hours of looking at already existing UK routes (Riviera, Falmouth, Port Road, Nottingham, etc.), and historical photographic research of the southern English countryside, this was the final (and hopefully successful - haha) product.
Not.Silent 16 черв. 2018 о 22:52
Hi jackstar. Workshop items do take a long time to load, for some people. I suggest closing Train Simulator and Steam. and leaving it for half an hour or so. Open up Steam and Train Simulator again, and if you go to Workshop not Drive, there will be a short time for the route to Download. It will then be available for you to do a Quick Drive. You will need to go back to the screen that shows Quickdrive to allow choosing the route you want - Yatesmouth Branch Line. I hope this helps a bit.
Not.Silent 16 черв. 2018 о 20:01
If anyone likes this route, and has not yet given a Thumbs Up Rating, please consider doing so, so that scenario creators like me, can publish Workshop scenarios for it. We need 30 votes - that is all, for the route to be accepted by Dovetail Games (DTG). So please reconsider if you have subscribed, as you will then have hours of 'free' scenarios to play, so we all benefit.
JackStar19YT 16 черв. 2018 о 8:26
hi how do u get the train on to ts on my screen when i play on it plus i do sub and it says downloading and it takes a long time so plz help i love steam trains
gertj3 15 черв. 2018 о 12:38
Very well build, this is how a route should look like, just add another 30 miles of the same and it would be the best selling route on TS
Drangus  [автор] 15 черв. 2018 о 8:53
Hi roger.worner. I hope you will check out the route! Thanks.
chris5012 14 черв. 2018 о 22:02
This is an excellent route. I would have played it earlier but for some reason it took a couple of days to show up in Quick Drive but it is there now and I have just spent a very pleasant half hour exploring!! Well done for creating this route - I can't wait to play some scenarios on it!
heyjoe 14 черв. 2018 о 13:37
This is an extremely well designed and well made route and i am really enjoying driving it. Even more remarkable because it seems to be the first route you have published and for someone who has never even been to the UK it really captures the spirit of GWR of the period. The route is full of interest and a good size ideal for scenario creations. Everybody should give this the thumbs up so the route can be finalised and scenarios can then be published.
roger.worner 14 черв. 2018 о 7:20
Hi Guys. To be honest I don't do the fictional routes but if its up to your previous offerings it will be great. Regards
Roger
love879 13 черв. 2018 о 12:59
Thank you Daniel . Look forward to that. Great route really enjoyed it.
Regards Gerry
Drangus  [автор] 13 черв. 2018 о 12:43
Hi Gerry! Unfortunately, Freeroam scenarios will not be available until the route is finalized on the Steam Workshop (30 'thumbs up') votes. I hope we can reach that goal soon so then people can begin making scenarios. Glad Quick Drive worked! I hope you liked the route. Keep an eye out for more of my work coming soon!
love879 13 черв. 2018 о 12:24
Big thank you Dragus worked perfect in Quick drive. Shows in the routes on freeroam but can't do anything with it. When I select the route it doesn't select it so can't do anything there. Got to say cracking good route though.
Regards Gerry Love
Drangus  [автор] 13 черв. 2018 о 11:24
Hi Gerry! I also just put in an update that should (I hope) make the route Quick Drive compatible. Let me know if that works for you!
love879 13 черв. 2018 о 11:10
Thanks Drangus, no I didn't but I will now thank you
Regards Gerry Love
Drangus  [автор] 13 черв. 2018 о 9:40
Hi love879. Did you try going into it through the scenario builder? I will investigate for you.
love879 13 черв. 2018 о 9:07
Cann't get into it, shows in my workshop list of subscriptions but doesn't show in any of my routes. The file in the workshop the drive tab is ghosted.
Drangus  [автор] 12 черв. 2018 о 10:36
Ironically, I do not live in England and have never even been there! I am from a suburb near Chicago, IL in the United States, however I am intensely interested in the history of England - especially their railroad infrastructure. It is fascinating! Even the Big Four were more technologically advanced than some of the systems we have in the US today. Quite sad actually.
Drangus  [автор] 12 черв. 2018 о 7:03
Thank you! The large greenhouse near Prescombe and the adjacent ball field were among my favorite parts of the route to make.
Not.Silent 12 черв. 2018 о 1:31
P.S. Do you live in Yate near Bristol?
Not.Silent 12 черв. 2018 о 1:29
I love the large greenhouse near Prescombe. Great. Will be in touch.
Drangus  [автор] 12 черв. 2018 о 1:09
Thank you for looking into the signal business further. I appreciate your help! And yes! That TPO apparatus set-up is tricky. It took me several tries before I finally got it. Looking forward to seeing the fun scenarios you will make on this route. I fell off the scenario making grid for quite some time while making this route (took me about four months with my other working and studying responsibilities), so I hope all the detail I put into it pays off!
