@mig: and gobbo: once warhammer 3 comes out sure, I've already got all my wh1 skins in one pack at least.

@Micons: yeah I really like that one, though a lot of people are on the fence. it's just a shame that we can't lock a single dino to a colour variant so they don't change their colours every match or I'd certainly make more outlandish variants.

@fred: most likely yes, if it doesn't and your eally want to combine the 2, open dryrains with packfile manager. delete the .varianmesh for each of the dino units, then file>add from pack and add my entire mod. save as a new mod and that should provide you with the frankenmod you desire.

No, I haven't asked him for permission; he's working on mods for TW:WH2 so I figured he might do it himself at some point in the near future. I was just impatient and bored of looking at brown horses. I'll give it a few weeks and then I'll as him for permission to make it public.
Yeah, I read the FAQ on your Mousillon reskin - hoprefully CA releases a new mod manager. in the meantime, i might take a stab at it myself, I'd like to try my hand at editing texutres, like horses colours, shield patterns, etc.

ahh good that you've figured out yourself and thanks! , the filestructure for .variants haven't really changed between wh1/2 so at least you can have the joy for yourself, if he has no interest in updating for wh2 have you tried asking him for permission to port it to no2? I imagine the reason why he hasnt is because hosting multiple files is tedious as heck, thats why when I brought all my wh1 reskins to wh2 I ended up bundling them all together lol.

OK cool, no worries man. Yeah, I actually ported over Kelstr's Warhorse mod myself, but I have it marked "hidden" in my workshop - I feel it'd be bad form to make it public without asking. I only ask because it's just a shame it was never updated for WE, Norsca, etc; there's a disturbing amount of brown horses in the Warhammer world...
Anyway, thanks for the answer! Looking forward to what else you come up with!

@whiskey: thanks for the compliments but atm my eyes are turned towards the vampire coast so I suppose you could say I’m quite preoccupied , on the plus side of things, most retexture mods will work if you just subscribe to the mod in wh1, do it then copy it to wh2 data files and they will probably work,

@rubbel: no new content added ;p you may . I did miss noting that I added terradins in, but considering I changed the mod name,added a paragraph in the description on the trials if getting it working and weird things I found within the file. Additionally I did , comment in steam chat and posted an update\discussion on reddit . Thought that was well broadcasted enough :) . The rest of them as I said are co op workshop incompatibility errors which really do happen all the time to me while I’m hosting my own mods. Happened in wh1 too. The other updates would just be me clicking update so grognards don’t omplain about mod out of date warnings when the game updates. Considering that none of the patches at all affected the mod and it would still work completely fine whether I ‘updated’ the mod or not it seemed superfluous to say anything
