Not working for me some are invisible others have box texture pattern tried it only mod running and using mod manager.

Yeah there's nothing to be done about that due to the way the game handles these units. Either clone Carnosaurs or ones that change each battle.

I'm not sure what I did, but when I re-downloaded the mod it started to work. The unit is just the regular Feral Carnosaur. However, it seems like the Feral Carnosaurs just keep switching colors in each battle. Is that intended?

Hm if they aren't getting the new colours then they aren't. Going to have to check and see if I can fix that. What's the name of the unit you get from the Rite?

Hello! I downloaded this mod for my current Lizardmen playthrough. I used the Rite of Primeval Glory and none of the Carnosaurs appear to have the variations. Are those included in the consideration for this mod?

That will work if you say so. ;) Which only leaves the argument of clean presentation on the Mod launcher for clear identification whose mods might be causing crashes and which prolly won't (coz updated). As most ppl use more than 1 mod and witch each patch its a puzzle to pinpoint which mods might break either the launch or loading of saved campaigns.

@echo yeah or separate color units. Think of the ui clutter. Carnosaur (Red), Carnosaur (Black), Carnosaur (Blue) and so on. Nah.

Though personally I don't really mind them changing colors. I'd rather that than have all of them be the same color.

Or multiple, otherwise identical, carnosaurs, as individual units. Like Carnosaur (Red), Carnosaur (Green) etc.

@bsalesc there's no specific to figure out. Each unit has a variant file which points to several variants. The game randomly loads a variant each battle. Lords and heroes have a single variant inside the variant file. So their appearance is constant.
Other units have multiple, especially multiple men units.

So you either make Carnosaurs a hero, or you have a single variant (like CA did) or you get multiple variants that change every battle. There's no other way about it.

Either Carnosaur clones or variant carnosaurs that change every battle.

wait in campaign a carnosaur from your stack will change colors in every different battle? The same dinosaur will change colors in the next battle? Lol, well there goes immersion. Not your fault marth, inkow its hard to figure all those specifics out. Sigh. CA, CA.

In my opinion, the blessed orange version is a bit too bright. I would tone down the color on it a fair amount.

Thanks for answering, I usually don't change gameplay or against lore, so I'll subscribe to this then. I hear they keep swapping every battle. Any chance of changing that in the future?

@Vanu I took inspiration for most of the schemes from official GW painted models.

That said, in the lore Carnosaurs are wild animals. Lizardmen skinks go out and gather eggs which they care and train once they hatch. So, much like IRL color schemes can vary a lot.

The mod is wonderful, but the fact that the models of the campaign army stack carnosaurs arent consistent kind of ruins the immersion for me. My 4 carnosaurs in my stack get different skin colors in every battle. :(

IMO the blessed versions are also beautiful!

However the 5th version's close up photo is missing according to the collective screenshot. ;)

@gahnfaust142 only the Ferals atm. I'm working on different variants for Blessed and Lord mounts, will be updated soon TM
