Welcome to the Expert Potions Update, adding an additional 5 new potion types, I've not play tested this update but it should work as intended.

Update: 7 Feb, 2023 @ 2:51pm

Changed the Thumbnail to something more appropriate.

Update: 7 Feb, 2023 @ 2:31pm

From this update forward, Better Alchemy can be considered to be permanently up to date. The only real issue this submod had was an easy fix that I missed because I forgot that Paradox games aren't that complex.

Update: 15 Jan, 2023 @ 4:49am

Sorry for the delay in updates, I've been busy playing Victoria 3. Anyway, I've added 5 new events tied into Journeyman Alchemy, currently they lack an early access mechanic, but that will be resolved eventually. 2 new potions and 2 new poisons have been added to the mod. Invisibility, Glibness, Poison and Paralysis Poison. The exact effect this will have on the balance of the mod is currently unknown but it shouldn't be to immense.

Update: 31 Dec, 2022 @ 11:31am

Fixed the encoding issue that I didn't even know was possible before correcting mistakes in my code which caused further crashes. Should be functional again.

Update: 19 Dec, 2022 @ 7:12pm

Deleted a bunch of stuff which shouldn't be required in the first place.

Update: 17 Dec, 2022 @ 3:38pm

Was suffering crashes for whatever reason, decided to consolidate some messy code because "why not?", and that seems to have fixed the crashes.

Update: 17 Dec, 2022 @ 8:40am

Ok, that should now cover everything that could happen.

Update: 17 Dec, 2022 @ 8:24am

Tripled the cost of Regeneration 2 when purchased via Court Alchemist.

Update: 17 Dec, 2022 @ 8:23am

Welcome to the Court Alchemist update! Technically. Anyway, the Court Physician now doubles as the Court Alchemist, which is more in line with Elder Scrolls reality. I've never heard of a Physician in an Elder Scrolls game, however Alchemists are everywhere. Anyway, all non-permanent modifiers now will last an extra year if applied while you have a Court Physician. The Court Physician can allow access to Apprentice Regeneration potions if you gained access to them via Gardener, thus letting you get a better life extender. When I figure out how to check which level of the Court Physician trait the Court Physician has, then I will be able to use that to allow access to the other Regeneration potions. In order to avoid potential issues, I have set up code to block access to potions you already have a modifier from, and some code to prevent a potential issue with the health potions.
