Description

Based on comments I received on the Basic Bath mod, and since I know how to make particle effects now, I decided to throw this together.

This mod, keeping with the spirit of my previous mods, adds one simple function to the Rusty Shower object: if you interact with it or send it a wire signal, you'll toggle the flow of water on or off. Simple as that.

These can be found in human prisons and hylotl cities. Scan them and print them yourself. Or spawn them in with "/spawnitem prisonshower" if you feel like cheating.

Note that this item's animated counterpart, the Dripping Prison Shower, hasn't been changed. That was on purpose. My excuse is that it's broken or disconnected or something, so it just drips.

Not compatible with Frackin' Universe.

Cool, sounds good. I'm not doing anything with my Starbound mods anymore, so I don't mind.

Actually, I did it myself.

This modifies functionality slightly. I'm no animator, so it just uses your animation. The lua is adjusted to allow for interact to use (sit), turning the water off again as you get out. When wired up, it still just sprays endlessly.

I also made a mod that forces NPCs to be inflicted with the same Nude status that players get by using such furniture.

I think this is a nice mod, but I was really expecting a "usable" shower, like a vertical "bed" (like the floran wooden cage or the prison force cell) so NPCs stand there to shower. If you're still maintaining this, would it be too much to ask for a furniture version like that?
