Nude Status for NPCs

If your villagers rest in stasis fully clothed, and your crew likes to sleep with their armor on, and you wish they'd take their armor off like you do, this mod is for you. NPCs are actually immune to the Nude status, keeping their clothes on while you're forced to strip. Well not anymore! This changes the status so they can be affected, too!


This mod adds new lua scripts to the Nude and Bed status effects (which cause the nude stat on players). The new script hooks the original and additionally checks if the entity is an NPC, and if so, temporarily stores NPC clothes/armor, replaces them with nothing (nude), and then restores and reequips them when the effect is removed. This does not change how players are affected.

NOTE:
This DOES NOT do lewd things like show naughty bits. There are no texture edits or reskins. This just unequips armor for NPCs the same way players are affected.


+ This changes the statuses themselves, not furniture that causes it. Furniture mods that add new beds, chairs, showers, etc that inflict Nude status on the player will also work properly on NPCs!
+ New races are also fully compatible! This only unequips items temporarily, mimicking the effect of the Nude player status on NPC.

? This hooks the existing script without replacing it. This should work with mods that also hook the existing scripts, as well as mods that replace the original scripts. If it doesn't, let me know and I'll try to figure out why.

- If you use a nevernude mod to never get undressed, this will still work. You probably don't want to be nude if you're using a nevernude mod. It won't conflict, but this mod is not for you, sorry.
