I misspoke when I said "weapon raising." I meant "weapon aiming" (right mouse button). As an example, the HK121 Hex machine gun has a slower animation when aiming than the vanilla aiming animation of carbines.

That's a sad. A rifle like this probably needs a custom animation so the player can feel its weight. But, please note that the weapon's raising time varies for each weapon! For example, vanilla heavy machine guns have a slower raising time. So this can be adjusted!
The weight i kinda just based off an m107, but about 2-3kg heavier, i felt it was sufficient
You said you increased the weight of this rifle? I see it's 15.97 kg. Are you sure this weight is adequate for such a huge weapon? I think it should weigh more. I have a heavier sniper rifle in my arsenal, which looks smaller.
Materiel means military equipment.
Material means stuff things are made of.
