Maintenance Disclaimer

While I will be keeping this mod afloat through numerous updates, the contents of the mod belong to the original author of the merge, as well as to the authors of the individual portraits. As such, if they wish to have this mod taken down, I will do so.

Introduction:

This mod offers players a wide array of portraits from various sci-fi worlds such as Star Trek and Star Wars, enhancing the roleplay potential for those who want to spice up their game. There are over 220 different portraits to choose from, each having individual customization options, though not all are animated. By default, randomization is turned off for these portraits, however I will make a submod in the future that enables it for those who want it.

Babylon 5 – 1 animated (Narn);
Mass Effect – about half animated (from EDI, Prothean to Geth, Kett)
Star Wars – about half animated (Mirialan, Zabrak, Twi’lek, Togruta, Sith, Chiss, Sullustan, Jawa, Rodian, Neimodians, Duros)
Star Trek – all races animated;
Miscellaneous Races – Na'vi from Avatar, Xenomorph, Terminator, 2 Star Gate races and 3 PlanetSide factions animated, Protoss;
Special Stellaris Races – all (Contingency, Unbidden, Robots, Swarm) races animated;
Halo – Cortana, UNCS, Prehuman, Covenant races;
Doctor Who – all races static;
Warhammer 40k – all races static;
XCOM – all races static.
Fantasy - all races animated.

Additional features:

- This mod also offers custom namelists for certain portraits, as well as special systems and planets, for a more immersive experience.

Compatibility:

- Please don't use this mod with other mods that add the same portraits, since they will conflict. Aside from that, this mod should be compatible with pretty much anything.

It isn't as simple as copying it over, since a lot of things changed. I just need to add the portrait set to the MACHINE class. But for that I need to make a separate portrait set so that it doesn't get bugged.

Wait just saw the lower comments. Sorry for repeating the question. However, could you possibly just copy them over and change the trait? Example - Geth as normal race and a copy in the machine list? Just asking thats all. Great job on the mod btw

Hey do you intend to add a machine race patch? I know the mod like this from a few years back had a second mod to go with it that added the geth and such to the machine list too. Is that possible for you to do? I ask because the game needs the machine trait for me to use that government style.

Yeah, because this mod overwrites that one. This mod already has those portraits.

Seems to cause some issues with the Sith race mod and Sartek's Star Trek Universe where the portraits will sometimes get bugged hair floating and outfits?

Huge issue: Mass Effect species like the Reapers, Geth and Rachni are incapable of using gestalt consciousness which is a *HUGE* issue.

As I said, I won't be doing that since sorting 200+ portraits on vanilla categories is very time consuming. If anyone wants to do it on their own time, feel free to make a fork of this mod, and I'll link it in the description for those who want it.

As I can't do graphical design for stellaris, I can't add new flags or icons to the mod. (it took me 2 hours to make a single icon for my Become the Dragon mod)

First, a thought, regarding most recent comment- would it be possible to individually tweak some of the species to have access to those kinds of species class traits?

Second, will this mod ever seek to incorporate any of the icon/flag collections as well?

@Ulthar; The portraits in this mod are assigned to special species classes, so they won't be recognized as any of the functional classes like Mammalian, Reptilian etc. They are just far too diverse for me to assign each one to a vanilla species class, so traits dependent on the class won't work for them.
