Spread your rule across the Rimworld with self governing colonies that are loyal to you and you alone. Command them to fight in your name, and destroy your enemies. But politics is always a deadly game.
Events will periodically influence your colonies, or your faction as a whole. You must decide how best to respond to these situations. And beware, a poor guiding hand will have consequences, your faction may lose faith in your leadership entirely, and take their destiny into their own hands.
Your colonists will pay taxes, be it in silver, or goods. You can tell them where you want your taxes, and they will dutifully pay them. A fully customizable faction name and title allows you to put your own spin on your subjects. They can be feudal vassals, a megacorporation’s branch offices, or even a shining beacon of truth and liberty. It is all part of the greater story.

I have also been working on a few things myself:

- Sleeping 8h a day (failed)
- Not celebrating new years alone (I kidnapped my neighbour)

Quick update: development is ongoing. I’ve been focusing on bug fixes and small QoL additions ( demolishing buildings, more building-menu filters).

On release, expect:
Orbital settlements (colonies, buildings, production)
Difficulty overhaul with selectable playstyles
Performance tuning for heavy methods
New textures for pruned buildings
Capital & tax spot buildings (for mobile ship capitals)
Tax notification settings (hide all for large silver-rich colonies)
Various fixes, please keep bug reports coming

Expanded compatibility with races and biomes

Upcoming (no release date):
VTE Trading/Banking support (tax to empire bank via research)
Manual defenses with orbital settlement support (vacsuit unlocks required)
Road building tweaks (less vein-like, more arterial)
Additional research to deepen gameplay (tithing)

i dont have any other mod that affects caravans at all active, i do have one that changes trade ships but not caravans

@Wedern yep, we had issues with one of the volunteer artists so we decided to remove them, they will eventually be added back thanks to another volunteer artist but for now we're using placeholders, apologies for any inconvinience.

@Lotan flan Are you sure this bug is due to this mod? Are there any other mods that could be modifying caravans? It's the first time we hear of such a thing, if you confirm no other mod is causing this issue feel free to join the discord and create a bug report with your logs, so we can figure out exactly what is going on.

had a weird issue yesterday where a trader from my faction came, i went to go trade with them and all they had to trade was my own stuff, and when i closed it i noticed that all my items and even storage containers were just gone and into the traders inventory.

@Ganyu please check the pinned discussion, this is because of rimwar, there is no fix and none is planned since it's not up to us.

@Vide Noir the mod keeps being updated, something may have slipped and consumes a lot of resources, if you have the logs of your game we can take a look at them (post it under bug reports on the discord, thanks)

@TheMilkMan as said this is because of Rimward, please check the pinned discussion.

anyone know if this works well with The Brotherhood Compendium and other FCP mods?
