Japan Rework

Description
Overview
While the Japanese mission tree (both the old and the domination variant) aren't bad, they in many ways feel somewhat unfinished, with mission branches leading nowhere and a lack of expansion opportunities offered. There is also the fact that when you unite Japan, you lose access to the Daimyo mission tree (which used to be the old Japanese mission tree), even though logically the new mission tree should have just expanded like how it works for the Russian mission tree.

This mod seeks to fix these problems, by both integrating the Daimyo and Domination mission tree, as well as adding new missions, government reforms, monuments and rebalancing other aspects of the Japanese flavor.

Features
  • 17 new missions.
  • Integrates Daimyo missions and Domination missions in the style of an evolving mission tree.
  • Rework of many old missions and events.
  • New government reforms, including a Tier 1 Shogunate reform for a united Japan, as well as unique Tier 7 reforms unique to every Daimyo (and a few nations outside Japan).
  • Adapted versions of the unique Tier 1 reforms Japan gets for a Japanese Emperor of China, as well as a Tier 2 which functions as a quasi-disaster, allowing you to integrate Chinese cultures as the Emperor of China.
  • 6 new monuments, that are designed more for flavor rather than powerful modifiers.
  • 4 new estate privileges.
  • Changes some events so that you can still get them when you form Japan.
  • Rebalances the 'Reform the Samurai' government reform to not be a downgrade from the other Japanese military reforms.
  • New flagship modification.
  • Unique Colonial names for Japan.

Credit
Thanks to C1CK for letting me use their Integrated Japan Missions for the Daimyo and Domination mission tree integration.

Compatability
The mod will not compatible with any mod that adds or changes government reforms, changes colonial regions, adds new burgher or nobility privileges, or that changes Japanese events, missions, provinces or decisions.

Other
If you have any feedback, suggestions or have discovered any bugs, just leave it in the comments.

Also, check out my other rework mod Scandinavia Revisited that reworks the Scandinavian nations.

@Nathe235 The point is that it's still superior (and more interesting) to the generic tier 1 reforms, which unified Japan in vanilla is stuck with. Allowing the reform to have daiymos would be pretty overpowered after unifying, and would also not make much sense (the reform is mean to represent a more centralised realm)

whats the point of the shogun reform if you cant have daimyos?

WARNING! Carry on reading! Or you will die, even if you only looked at the word warning! Once there was a little boy called Joey, he was ten-years-old and he lived in a mental hospital because he posted a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ copypasta onto a People Playground mod's comment section . He got so bad he went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the Feds decided that best idea was to get rid of him so they set up a special room to kill him, as inhumane as possible. And he sat there in agony for hours until he died. Now every week on the day of his death he returns to the person that reads this letter, on a monday night at 12:00 a.m. He creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by pegging you and watching you bleed to death. Now send this to ten other profiles on this one site, and he will haunt someone else who doesn't. This isn't fake. apparently if u copy and paste this to ten comments in the next ten minutes nothing will happen
I just played it and it was great!
At first - I was bored, there was nothing much new, then I formed Japan and found a couple of new missions and reforms - THEN I TOOK CHINA AND THE GAME STARTED! Awesome mod for those who feel bored after 1550-1600! Monuments are fun - more flavor than huge buffs, I would just recommend to reduce rewards a bit to few missions like the one that gives you Engineer trait, its OP.
