Mercane VS200 Light Vehicle Ferry

Description
Mercane VS200 Light Vehicle Ferry
The Quick Bits
It sure has been a while since I built something let alone open this game ahah. The last time I really put "effort" into a build was over 2 years ago. Now i'm 17, just graduated school, and thought well with all this newfound time on my hands, I want to get back into building and this time do it right. So I present to you my first made up and completely random brand (which I totally didn't just yonk from my electric scooter).... Mercane!!

Mercane
This is the Mercane VS200 Light Vehicle Ferry. Powered by two 12 Cylinder Engines, this beast has plenty of grunt, hitting a top speed of 30kn's**. She'll carry up to three small cars or one large truck for up (I wish I had a range number but idk how to calculate that so just use infinite fuel lol)

** With the high gear button which in all honesty is really buggy and odd for literally no reason istg I can't figure out why but sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Top speed normally is abt 12kn's

BTW ALL PHOTOS ARE FROM THE FIRST VERSION OF THIS VEHICLE. THERE HAVE SINCE BEEN MANY UPDATES ESPECIALLY TO THE INTERIOR.

Start up Procedure
Left side of the Bridge
  1. Screen button = On
  2. Backlights = Optional but I recommend on
  3. Ignition Lock Key = On (And leave on)
  4. Ignition = On (Will take a sec thats normal, wait abt 2 seconds engines will should fire right up

At the Helm
  1. Right monitor - Hit the "EN" in the top right hand corner to activate Radar and Sonar
  2. Left Monitor is the autopilot, click Here to head to that workshop page which I believe has a tutorial for it
  3. Click the helm

You are now, at the helm.
In front of you you will find a multitude of buttons. This is the approximate layout
Cruise Control ACTIVE

Front (Left)*
Front (Right)*

Channel Up**
Postion Hold active

Rear (Left)*

Channel Down**

FW Monitor Fold (Middle)***

Autopilot ON

Fr Ramp (OPEN)
Fr Ramp (CLOSED)

* These are the bow Thruster controllers, also accessable through the helm buttons 1 through to 4
** This is the video switcher for the monitor off to your right, hit these buttons to view all the cameras located around the vehicle
*** These are buttons to fold the monitors infront of you up for better viewing. It is recommended that you at least fold the side monitors up, "Fw Monitor Fold (Sides)" As these show your current Prop Pitch and Throttle Positions, left and right respectively
**** This is the push to talk system, really only there for people who want to try to play multiplayer and/or well its mostly just there for looks. Hense its not fully fleshed out and I haven't really tested it nor am I experienced with sound that sort of thing so appologys in advance if this doesn't work 100% of the time

WIP
Please keep in mind this is still a work in progress, these are the things I am currently aware still need work
  • Engine Room Monitors
  • Working without using Infinite electricity (It does but not amazingly)
  • Electric Engine start
  • Autopilot has an issue where throttle doesn't move boat forward - Actively working on this
  • Want to improve throttle + Add auto throttle but that will take a bit of time, its in the works however

Finishing Statement
I am by absolutely no means a professional builder but I tried my hardest with this, please respect that before commenting something mean. However I'd more than welcome comments letting me know of issues/suggestions in a respectful manor and I can assure you I will try my best to resolve them. So without further adieu, enjoy the "Mercane VS200 Light Vehicle Ferry

Microcontrollers used
This is a list of all microcontrollers I can remeber using as credit as absolutely due to these incredible creators, I couldn't have made this creation without them. If I have missed any ofc let me know in the comments asap and I will rectify.
