Description
Presenting the KO Digital VHF Radio
Communication is the key not only to healthy relationships, but also to succesfull maritime operations. With that in mind, KO developed the simple, but feature packed Digital VHF Radio.

Example vehicle with this microcontroller is available here.

Features
  • Channels 00-99
  • Scanning feature that scans through all channels and finds any channel with activity.
  • Mute function.
  • Distress button, for DSC style distress calls utilizing emergency transponder.

Buttons and data fields - explanation
Current channel is display in the top left corner. Besides, you will find the status symbol for the distress function and signal strength from recieved signals. Using the blue buttons, you can switch channels up and down, toggle the scanning feature and mute the radio. On the orange button on your top right, you can reset the channel to ch. 16 (distress/calling channel). Using the big red button labeled "D" you can enable the distress function.
