Hello Everyone!!

The Great Revision became a Series!

After the release of the main mod TGR, we received a lot of feedback from the community, so we decided to create a "Series" taking all the features present in The Great Revision, and split in several mini-mod, to allow the players to decide themself which feature apply in full freedom!

EPISODE 6 - LEADERSHIP & POLITICIANS

Another feature the V3 Developers released is to try to predict which ideology shall spawn for any leader of the IGs.
This can be predicted thanks of political movements, which you can bolster or suppress, having so more probability to spawn IG Leaders with that specific Ideology.

But if from one side this is cool, from the other side now you cannot have anymore direct control on the IGs.

For this, the mod of this week wants to introduce a way to help you to have a better control on both!
"Leadership and Politicians" it's a mod that will allow the player to take 3 specific actions:

-Resign Party Leadership
-Start a Propaganda Campaign
-Start a Discredit Campaign

Resign Party Leadership
This action make your current IG Leader step down to leave another politician lead the Interest Group.
This is really useful in those case where you are bolstering the political movement you need, and the IG is getting pressured by it, increasing the probability that the new leader will spawn with that ideology.

Propaganda & Discredit
As you can imagine this action let you instead give a boost or nerf to any interest group, using the IG Leader Popularity.
If you played "TGR Better Politics" you can see that already this is possible thanks of the laws and Ministries, but with this you can have a more immediate action if you need to support any specific IG.

You can choose how much impact the Campaign will have on the character, and furthermore, you can also have a chance that the politician will gain new traits.

I have this as the only mod active, and nothing pops up when I go to character interactions? Am I doing something wrong?

Hey Camiciarossa, strange because i'm playing with TGR (i tested only with TGR) and it's working.
Maybe are you using some else mod?

All the great revision mods now cause crush in the 1.8.7. Needs to be updated.

Yes it's true, in 1.7 this was possible, but i decided to remove this feature because now with the new system of political movement i think would be too much unbalanced and will make the pol movement useless

Hey! Hello!
I think you are referring to "resign from office" button which is in vanilla, and not "Resign party leadeship".
If you have a IG leader which is also head of the state, you will not be able to use that button from this mod, because i removed to avoid any unbalanced scenario.

You can use that button to any IG leader, apart if that leader is also head of the state.

Tell me if everythiing is clear. :)

Hey, great mod, but at some point, maybe 30 years into the game the button Resign from Office got bugged. It shows the tooltip that it cannot be reused in another 24 months, but the timer is not shown like on other decisions as how many months are left.
