Description
148th Residential Series
A collection of 7 (1 middle section, +3 variations for each end section) RICO compatible prefabricated buildings based on the Soviet series no. 148, part of the "Tashkent" or "Uzbek" series of soviet prefabricated tenements. This is the normal variation of the 148th Series, without attached loggias. Such series can be seen all over Tashkent in its different forms. There is also a tower variation of the 148th series, which I have already made.
The specific series that I managed to identify the blocks used in this asset is 148-0𝑥𝑥SP.83

Most buildings of this Series include a set of attached loggias on either side (which you can see here[www.google.com], here[www.google.com] and here[yandex.ru]), however I have not included variations with these loggias in the pack as there are a number of problems
1. These loggias are often arranged in unique patterns, making it hard to make a modular version
2. As these loggias cannot be included as part of a building, I must figure out the most efficient set of loggia variations
3. I prefer these loggias to retain their original appearance (and not modified by the owners as they usually are nowadays) which means i must figure out a way to turn the window panels (which you will attach the loggias to) into doors without making it look too flat.

Rambling aside, here is some more info on this Series.
The 148th Series can take on many guises, and can often be confused for other serial houses of the Uzbek SSR, especially due to the modularity of many of the Uzbek prefabricated series, allowing great creative freedom in changing the appearance of the house and even going as far as differing apartment plans within sections which may look the same. However the main reason which The particular variation which I chose for this pack uses granite chippings to give a rough dark orange finish to the outside of the concrete panels. In the front of the building you can also see the familiar "X" shaped lattices guarding the inner loggias, which were used in my tower variation too.

An interesting remark about this series is that they were often built with the entrances facing the "outside" of a microdistrict, especially if they were placed along a main road, which is unusual for most soviet houses which have back entrances. To me this is reminiscent of early Soviet/constructivist era housing which usually had front or front and back entrances.

Model description and info

*
The attic and balcony panels can be repainted to any color you like using the Repaint 1.7.4 mod, the granite sections cannot be repainted.

Each section is 5x3 lots, with the end sections a bit longer than that (last image of both rows). The end sections have 3 variations, Windowed (bottom row, 1st image), With Balcony (bottom row, 2nd image) and Empty (bottom row, 3rd image) all of which can be seen in real life. In game the Middle section houses 22 people, while the end sections house 18. All sections are Level 4, and cost 25k.

Perfect for microdistrict construction. If you're planning a devastating earthquake for your city, the 148 series can be used to rebuild an seismic-resistant city.

To use this asset in game, please use the Ploppable RICO Revisited mod. Otherwise, the asset will be a unique building with no function.

Unfortunately, it has a bug.
When I try to put it besides a road, doesn't matter which one, it tells me that it is tooo near to the road. I can't place it at all!
May you resolve the problem?

That makes so much sense, I noticed the similarities between the low and high floor buildings in the Yunusabad quartals, but never gave it a second thought. The latter 9 floor TDSK also seems to be more modular in terms of facade and planning. Thanks for the insight about the BTS panels as well, you are extremely knowledgeable on this topic!

Yes, those are the point blocks I was thinking of!

TDSK was also the name for the earlier 4 and 5 storey variants, but, latter 9-storey type 71A/77 probably went through some adjustments during the time of construction from when it began in 1978 or 9 (iirc). For ease of texturing, too, the BTS-9 and TDSK 71A/77 built at the same time in the latter 1980's actually share some external panels, though the internal layouts and structure are rather different.

@Junna The Zemchug gallery house is a wonderful build that I would definitely like to try and recreate at some point, , alongside the monolithic 16-floor projects, though as you said it will prove quite difficult. The BTS will likely come first as result.

But I am not quite sure what you mean by the 12 floor point blocks, is it the ones built along the Akhangaran highway on the "40 years of victory" massiv? the ones pictured here https://pastvu.com/p/921775

As for the TDSK series, I hope I'm right in the fact that it had 2 versions of the stairs and elevator section, one elongated and one more square? Of course if you know about the planning of this series. I try the best to research as much as I can, however my information is never perfect.

 TDSK sounds good. Aside from my previous suggestion of the BTS, there's always those 12-storey panel point blocks (I forget what series they belong to, they have cool wrap-around balconies tho) and the 16-storey monolithic block types (the Dom Zemchug and the other 16-storey monolithic blocks), which are very cool. I imagine making a model out of those, especially the Zemchug, would be a huge pain, however... Such a complicated layout!

Let me know if you would rather see the Loggias for this series, the "improved" tower version of the this series or if you want me to try and recreate the TDSK 71a/77 series next.
