Introduction
Ever wanted to feel like rulers would actually react to your expansion ? Then this mod is for you. In essence, it mimics Europa Universalis IV Overextension and Aggressive Expansion game mechanics, but adapted to fit in CK III's medieval setting. This aims to make the game more immersive, and above all else, as I always try to do with my mods, its ambition is to make the player think more, and have to make strategic choices to prevent map painting from happening too early in the game.

- The Malleable Invaders cultural tradition increases Overextension Decay
- The Clerical Justifications perk halves the Aggressive Expansion modifier value for rulers of your faith
- Two game rules to adjust your experience

If you have a very low end computer, I suggest to take the Players Only game rule to reduce CPU stress in the late game



Principles
Overextension is gained through conquests, and applies an Aggressive Expansion Opinion modifier to independent rulers, the further they are, the less impact it will have, to a point where no one cares.

Hello! I really enjoy your Overextension mod — it adds a great layer of strategic depth to Crusader Kings III.

However, I’ve recently encountered a consistent crash during gameplay. After reviewing the error log, it appears the issue might be related to an unset variable in the script that handles overextension effects (likely within the oxt_debuff_pulse section).

I wanted to ask if you’re planning or willing to update the mod to address this issue. It would be wonderful to see this great mod maintained and improved further.

maybe there could be a game rule to make the overextension malus go away once they become your subject otherwise you end up with a whole realm of powerful vassals that hate you. And maybe thats the point, though i dont remember the consequences of expanding being that egregious within your realm in eu4
