UP TO DATE FOR 1.16.X

REVERTED MAA BONUSES TRADITIONS TO 1.15, THEY ADD FLAT STATS INSTEAD OF MULTIPLIERS, WHICH IS QUITE USELESS CONSIDERING MULTIPLIERS ARE STACKABLE TO MUCH HIGHER VALUES THAN WHAT THE 1.16 MULTIPLIERS GIVE (10/15/20 MULT DOES NOT DO MUCH WHEN YOU HAVE 200% ALREADY)

Made for personal use, I thought I'd share it as it was originally inspired by the mod "Art For Traditions". You can see a preview of the designs, I hid the name and did not want to show too many as part of the pleasure is to discover them as your game goes on.

Disclaimer : I used AI and a mix of existing royalty-free art to make the mod, and edited out gen AI artefacts and the image's grain, sharpness, alpha etc to make them fit the game's vibes. My skills are limited to image editing. If you have an aversion for AI, please refrain from lashing out on me, and feel free to not download the mod and scroll elsewhere on the workshop.

I will also make submods for popular mods that add traditions.

The mod also adds two brand new traditions :


Mythical Ancestors grants buffs to rulers popularity, scaling with divine and consecrated blood. Only available to norse cultures.


Reckless Innovators grants innovation and development buffs, scaling with castle holdings, at the cost of popularity and religious focused debuffs.

You can deactivate the new traditions with a game rule (at the bottom) before launching your game.

@DatWeebComingInHot i updated the mod so that it has built-in compatibility with MHG now ;)

I can second what @unclocick44 said, MHG has minor incompatibilities. I'm not seeing a \culture\cultures\buildings though, so have no idea what exactly causes this. Would be amazing if this could also recieve a patch given the popularity of MHG. Love the style of this mod, and it would be a shame to sideline it.

Hi, thanks for the cool mod, so you know there are several more MHG incompatibility issues like the one someone had with Iranian cultures a while back... Tibetan, Burmese, Berber, Caucasian, North Germanic, East Slavic, West Slavic, South Slavic, Sahelian, Senegambian, Akan, East African, Central African, Horn African heritages all have the western Euro castle for castle barony holdings. Possibly more after feudal/clan conversion but those are the ones that are already present in the latest start date.

I see you have made a gameplay change in this mod. Is there any chance for just a graphical version? this will not be compatible with other mods otherwise.
