Description
Overview
Adds 5 new units for all Ogres factions and 1 new skill for Hunter hero.

Features
Boomguts -- Ogre Shelter



Gatebusters -- Bestest Weapon Pile



Mountainblaster -- Boulder Fields



Blood Vultures -- Feast Yurt & Mournfang Lair



Feral Mammoth -- Giant Pens






New skill for Hunter heroes -- Vulture Tamer
level 1:
- recruit cost reduction for blood vultures in army
- upkeep reduction for blood vultures in army
- morale increase for blood vultures in army

level 2:
- Buffed level 1 effects for
- Blood Vulture call ability (2 uses) for Hunter



All units are affected by skills and tech.


Compatibility
Should work fine with everything.

Save game compatible.

Keeping the summon ability for the Ogre Hunter would be nice. I haven't been able to look too thoroughly at the new update but I know the blood vultures were made official.

This mod might take a little while to update. I have some new units planned to replace the Blood Vultures (since they've been added by the DLC now).

Hi, love the new unit additions, but I just wanted to say that the Blood Vultures likely have ~20 less Morale than they should. They appear to be a direct copy of Carrion, which is fine (Ogres could use a little air presence, I think), but Carrion are undead, which tend to get a rather large morale penalty compared to mortal units. I say ~20 less morale in this case because of the comparison between Drycha's Cave Bats and the Fell Bats of the Vampires - same stats besides morale.

I get that Hunters can provide that bonus with their new skill, but I would personally prefer to see their baseline leadership be roughly where it should be, and for the skill to instead provide a more modest Morale buff. (Also, I think that the Hunter skill might not actually work? Just going off of the tables, it's currently set as general_to_force_own, which only functions on Lords, where it should probably be character_to_force_own, which functions for Lords and Heroes alike).

I strongly feel like Gatebusters need more buff. They are not really competitive with other bulls of the same tier
