Description
Extended the random name lists for non-unique NPCs and recruits, so you should meet less people called "Hotlongs". Added around 700 names (almost four times what was there).

Tried to keep it lore-friendly and immersive; mostly just strange phonetics, 'Name-like' words and syllables, and a sprinkling of humorous nicknames (Gristleflap likes his gristleflaps).

You'll still see names coming up more than once - the wonders of randomness.

Note: there are other mods out there that boast adding thousands of names. I can only imagine they've taken them from baby name lists, so names like 'Rebecca' and 'Brad'. The names in this mod are all created by hand, one by one, for the Kenshi aesthetic. Though, by all means, you can steal names from this mod to name your actual babies with.

Thank you for this mod, I named my kid "Stinks" in honor of this but he seems to hate me now, I dont think he Kenshis.

It seems some more names were added to the vanilla names lists that aren't in this. Here they are for anybody interested in adding these to the .txt files of this mod if you are using it:

wherever your Steam folder is\Steam\steamapps\common\Kenshi\data\

And there's three text documents called namesM, namesF, and namesMF. Generic names are contained within. namesM is male-only names, namesF is female-only names, and namesMF is unisex-names.

Ex:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Kenshi\data\namesMF
