After playing this game for nearly 500 hours i would like to change my opinion on the "down but not out" burning mechanic, I Love it!! Its such a troll mechanic and gets used only in the way the devs intended. The intended use of course is being chased by a crowd of grunts and having one of them hit you with a torch, which causes you to lose half your heath without even encountering people in the match yet. And lets not forget about being hit with a hellfire bomb through a wall, and getting so sacred you tab out and sit in a pool of flames for a whole 75 hp bar extra on top of the 50 bar that was instantly burned off. And don"t even think about running choke bombs, don"t you know that nobody else uses them? So what use could they really be? Over all fire in Hunt is just like the swarms, nobody likes them and everyone uses them.

Why would i play a character progression based game when your hunter can be permanently killed by a single firebomb, while being camped by other players and rendering any efforts your teammate tries to revive you slim to none? The answer is, you can burn other hunters and then gloat in vc as they punch the pixels out of their 1995 gutted mac screen. Anyways, besides the annoying fire element, that is purely situational, this is an amazing game, just very frustrating sometimes to have your hunter permanently killed due to your lack of skill and/or dynamic thinking.
