One of the most inspiring turn-arounds in gaming. This game went from a garbage tier overhyped buggy mess, to one of the most content-rich exploration sandboxes on the market.
There's a little to love about NMS for just about everyone, exploration is the key loop of the game, but there's also so much more to offer while you're exploring, building complex and beautiful homes, managing settlements, commanding your own fleet, even going on missions in a destiny-esque multiplayer hub.

Oh, and not to mention, there's galaxy wide multiplayer, cross-play included!!!

The devs clearly have an insane passion for this game, and they continue to update it to this day, it just keeps getting better.
They've gone far beyond what they originally promised when the game first dropped, its a real gem and I recommend EVERYONE try it, especially if you're looking for a game to fill that Minecraft itch.
