Red Dead Redemption 2's gameplay, while not groundbreakingly innovative, has been refined to perfection and serves to convey one of the greatest works of cinematography and story telling in the video games industry. An open world that has a perfect balance of dense setpieces and wide open environments. As well as small details and ripple effects of the players actions add a sense of depth to the environment and create a feeling of believability not found in many other games.
In this game Rockstar is able to tell a story that far surpasses the superficial gangster flicks of the Grand Theft Auto series. It tells a story that achieves emotional highs far above what any modern blockbuster is able to achieve, backed up by dramatic action sequences and brief moments of respite and character progression.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is a game I will always happily Soyjak over and is a game that every player has to experience in their life.
