Game is fabulous, physics feel good (for the most part), the major issue I have is the lack of controller support - driving on a controller feels like playing roulette with braking & turning, not to mention there's very little steering customisation, it's essentially impossible to countersteer at speed.

I'll still recommend this game because it's early access and things will likely change, and the content that's already here is great, just be prepared to fly into trees/rocks because the steering is whack on controller.

This game is great fun, especially with friends.

Finally "finished" the story, so I thought I'd write my review,

Holy what a game, they took the success of Hollow Knight and turned it into a full-on experience with one hell of a difficulty jump. The artstyle, the music, the characters, all amazing - I do wish I found the same attachment to the OSTs as the first game, but they're still some of the best soundtracks you'll hear in a game.

Whilst some of the areas, enemies and boss runbacks were annoying and at times painful, I still felt rewarded after completing each of them (except Bilewater, ♥♥♥♥ you). Just gotta keep on trying and eventually you'll get past it.

Overall, 10/10 as deserved, Team Cherry never disappoints. I think I prefer the original still, but I just fell in love with that story more, felt more tragic to me. PLEASE play the original first though, it helps a LOT.

I rarely put this much effort into reviews, but this game deserves some.

Fantastic, everything about this game is just fantastic; the artstyle, the gameplay, the audio work, the *feel* of the world. Progression is entirely up to you and I love that, I spent a good few hours just wandering around exploring instead of progressing towards any sort of goal most other games set for you.

I've started playing the sequel and I'm already loving it, but this game will still feel like my original love, Silksong is definitely harder right off the bat, but that's a good thing considering you should 100% play this game first.

There's a reason this is the most played game on Steam, it's addictive and keeps stealing my money, but I love it. Gameplay is good, can't wait for CS2 to release, only complaint is the anti-cheat, could be better.
