Basically an extension of Blasphemous 1. If you haven't played the first there isn't a need to, though it does help you understand the narrative and background. On the gameplay side of things, it's fantastic: multiple weapons, lots of movement, puzzles that are difficult but not frustrating, a variety of enemies and lots of other things to keep you engaged! With the storyline it's again an extension of Blasphemous 1 and is just as packed with religious verbiage and imagery. An amazing religious game.
