Updating my review. The changes to enforce PSN accounts have been rescinded, meaning you will not need a Sony account to continue playing the game. Helldivers 2 continues to be an amazing game, and hopefully events like this will now be avoided in the future.

Act 1 and Act 2 are incredibly well made, but Act 3 is not finished. I'd recommend staying away for a few more months for additional patches. Right now, the ending is extremely lacking and feels very abrupt. It's also very buggy and can easily break.

Stay away for a few months if you want a more finished experience, but the current game is still very good.
